Sky are doing my nut in the way they’re reporting about poor Tom Lockyer. They keep saying “he’s alert and responsive“ as if they’ve just been handed a piece of paper with breaking news. When in fact they heard that a good 45 minutes ago and probably haven’t the slightest clue how he is.
What do you want them to say? If that's the latest they have, which is positive news, then they're going to report it.

Obviously easy to say in hindsight but having had a heart issue earlier this year, should Lockyer have been playing?

Obviously the main thing now is that he's okay, but I wonder who was making that call.

What is happening to City? The league is wide open right now
Again why it’s so so annoying we had our injuries and didn’t buy that extra CB in summer because we are 2-3 players away from having a squad that could win the league this year, now ofc next season when we are back in Europe hopefully then we will likely need 5-6 more between now and then but right now if we’d had that extra CB and mabye one more attacking player we might have another 3-6 pts and would be right in with a genuine chance of the title never mind top 4.

Anyway it is what it is we keep going but yea right now Liverpool and Arsenal will get a free run at the title this season.

I called this at the start of the year as very often after teams win a treble their next season is very underwhelming as the level just can’t be sustained.

Scary. Especially after he collapsed last season.

Unfortunately you’d have to think that means the end of his playing career.. for it to happen twice in quick succession and if it’s actually Cardiac arrest today that implies something REALLY serious.
Must be gutting when it’s all you’ve likely ever wanted to do. Health had to come first though and at least these days there’s lots of work for coaching, presenting, punditry etc.

At least it may mean he can stay in the game even if it isn’t in the exact way he hoped.

Theyre not as negative as i expected them to be under them.

Actually should suit us if they play a bit.

Got to watch them at set pieces though.
Fully expect them to turtle up against us as follow the pattern West Ham did next week.

They’ve given Burnley a lot of joy down the wings, and if they do that for us you’d think Kulu/Richy/Johnson could get some joy for us.

Their midfield is not working right this year. They are missing KDB with injury but they are missing some of the ones they sold in the summer.

They need to reinvest in a decent midfield again or they will be like this all season I feel.
