Correct me if I'm wrong but because Johnson was a concussion substitute, isn't there mandatory period of two weeks or something before he can play again???They’ve given Burnley a lot of joy down the wings, and if they do that for us you’d think Kulu/Richy/Johnson could get some joy for us.

Or am I getting confused?

Whatever Everton are paying Dyche, it’s probably not enough.
Dyche doing an incredible job!!! Without the 10 point deduction they’d be 8/9th!PL Table tonight View attachment 135354 View attachment 135355
It constantly amazes me how 2 or 3 results, no matter the performance and the circumstances completely determine peoples' opinion on the final outcome of the season
I can understand pundits doing it for clicks/views but many of them seem to be genuine in their opinion. e.g. J Redknapp
For example, for me, we are 10+ points better side than Villa and they have a likely lengthy European campaign to contend with.
Yes they beat us but very fortunately and a Rodri-less and inconsistent Citeh (see today + many other results) and a still inconsistent Arse. They will probably lose a couple of games and those saying they're in the title fight will melt away and pretend it never happened
When Arse were briefly top we saw articles all over about their chances. + us. Not seen much about Liverpool to be fair but only because they and Citeh are expected to be challenging
Then on SC lots of people hoping for top 5 and that 5th gets CL, just because we had a few results that simply didn't reflect the game whatsoever. But saying those sides < 5 points ahead are well in the race
We are a very good side. We have probably had only 2-3 bad performances all season where we didn't deserve any points. Mostly caused by a terrible injury crisis. We will be right up there at the end. Still think only Citeh, if anybody, are likely to pull away and that's not happening at the moment
Not sure about City at the moment to be honest. It constantly amazes me how 2 or 3 results, no matter the performance and the circumstances completely determine peoples' opinion on the final outcome of the season

They will more than likely do some business in January though, surely. They never stand still. Not sure about City at the moment to be honest.
I don't think Kovacic or Nunes really added much to what they lost (Gundogan)
I think Pep really wanted Olise or a player of that mould and has had to make a compromise with Nunes.
I also think Kovacic is a bit of a stop gap until a better player emerges there.
Doku is great but not the finished article and in def transition he has work to do.
Their window was one of their least impressive ones.
At a time where others are getting better, this may be their 'off-season'
