Nearly over. 10 points already and playing like absolute shit.

No top 4 is a disaster and I hope those at the top know it.

Good luck filling the ground next season if a miracle occurs and we even make the Europa League (although I'd rather miss out to be honest)
A year off from Europe could be a good thing for us in the league. Of course, it could also be a fucking catastrophe. Fine lines.

So we’ve gone from a title race, to a top 4 race & now Europa  & even that is pushing it

We'll end up at around mid table the way we are going mate. No Lloris, no in form CBs, genuinely no first choice RB, no backup for Harry Kane even though a team like Wolves can have 3 strikers Jimenez, Jota and Cutrone in their ranks it really shouldn't come as a surprise to see us where we are.

We are literally just integrating 2/3rds of our transfer business into our team really and it's the first week or November. We've had it raw but we really haven't helped ourselves.

If we don't beat Sheffield United next Saturday, you might as well close this thread bud.

I don't particularly want Europa Cup either but might be useful to integrate all the copious amounts of top class, proven talent players Levy and ENIC will be buying for us this January and in the summer

I'm concerned you may still be being a bit optimistic based on what is happening and the facts you highlight. Results since January suggest at least a flirt with a relegation battle

Spot on.

I hope that Poch is making it clear to the players that this is where we are. If that possibility isn't addressed now then by the time we realise that there is a chance that we could go down we could be dragged into it.

I still think we will come top 4. Are people mentioning relegation battles being serious?

Maureen comes in during the international break.

We finish 8th in the league but win the champions league (y)

In reality we'll keep Poch and stumble out of the group stages and finish near the relegation zone

The reason why it looks like it’s gone already is the way we’re playing and the complete lack of showing any sign of turning things round. We’re actually getting worse.
Yesterday was scrappy and Everton were poor but we were pretty pelt I thought.
I think even contemplating top 4 at this moment in time is laughable. We are an absolute mess

I give us absolutely no chance of beating Sheffield United or even getting a draw. That team are giving 100% every match and we've been utter shit. Plus we've a manager who is either blind or ignorant and keeps picking these out of form players.
We're in serious serious trouble. Poch is done imo. He isnt going to turn this around, much as I want him to so the sooner he goes the better imo.

Yes.

Look at our results for 2019: relegation form. We have the occasional good performance / result but then revert to playing crap and getting beaten. If you're not worried you should be. This squad of players doesn't seem to have the stomach for a fight and if we're in or near the relegation zone next spring we could be in serious trouble.

Well we are 2/1 to finish in Top 4, 16/1 to be in bottom half, and you can get over 100/1 on us to be relegated, so think you can make your own conclusions. Either not being serious or seriously over-exaggerating things.

Finish 10th.

Drop into Europa by finishing 3rd in our CL group. Beat Arsenal in the final, back in CL. European champions (...), Poch turns it around and Arsenal offer Emery a lifetime contract

Best-case scenario :cautious:
