Tactics better
Game management better
Team performance better
Overall, could still be better
But saying that, I do feel better

Team effort for me.

We all love Sonny, Harry, Toby, Ndombele, PEH and Hugo, but I thought the other five all did their jobs today. Dier, Doherty, Davies, Bergwijn and Winks. None of them were exceptional. They all made the odd mistake. But they all chipped in with important moments and did enough to secure the win.

Well done the team.

Very good performance & result.

Hojbjerg by far the best on the pitch, really outstanding dominant performance.
If Hojbjerg doesn’t get a winter upgrade on FIFA 21, I’m going to protest to those EA dick spindles by having him score loads of own goals whenever I play the game. The smarmy twats

Jose tactics MOTM.

Real potential banana skin today. Smart of Jose to get Ndombele to stick to Phillips for 75min. They couldnt launch their usual attacks as usual.

I've been critical of Davies, but he was superb today. MOTM for me.
Toss up between him and Son for me but I gave it to son in the end. Tough call today though as a few really strong performances.

I thought Davies was our best defender, and Hojbjerg our best midfielder, and Kane scored and assisted, but Son - with his goal and his work rate just edges my vote for MOM.

Lloris - 7
Doherty - 5
Alderweireld - 7
Dier - 6
Davies - 8
Winks - 7.5
Hojbjerg - 8
Ndombele - 7
Bergwijn - 7
Son - 8
Kane - 8

Sissoko - 7
Moura - 7
Vinicius - not enough time to judge him

Mourinho - 7 - Tactics spot on - much better balance between attack and defence, but thought he left the changes far too late.

Other thoughts...
Doherty looks well below the standard we need at RB. Surely Tanganga is a better back up for Aurier?
Dier was very sloppy first half and needs to buck his ideas up.

I don’t think there were any poor performances today, so everyone deserves credit. Defended solidly throughout.

For MOM, it was between Kane or Hojbjerg, but opted for Kane looking back to his sharpest. Icing on the cake being the brilliant assist, but overall he was great.

Good day at the office with lots of good players. Particular shouts for Bergwijn, Davies and Son but for me PEH was man of the match - improves everyone aroudn him.

Imperious from Hojbjerg.
But Davies needs more recognition than he deserves as he was pretty faultless too.
Dier and Toby likewise, very competent as a defensive unit.
Doherty rightly sent off but both yellows were close ones. This will happen on occasions.
Bergwijn looked good and you can only hope he scores soon to get the monkey off his back.
Tanguy, too many stopovers for me
Kane and son, usual high standards although sometimes Harry’s decision making could be better.
Winks, neat and tidy

Subs- the question is did they improve on the players they replaced. I’d say no.
I would like to see Vinicius on earlier next time though, and I though dele was unlucky not to be the swap for tanguy.

Good overall performance, back to winning ways and a clean sheet against a free scoring Leeds team.
Back into the top 3 with a game in hand against Fulham. Happy days

Good performance against a team who are set up perfectly to lose against us.

Winks, Davies and Doherty all played ok, despite a few worries pre-match.

Silly Red from Doherty which won't have gone down well with Jose. Time for Japhet at RB?

Kane and Son delivering the goods yet again.

Bergwijn excellent apart from his end product but that will come.

Vinicius impresses me every time he plays even though it is not as often as I'd hope.

Hojbjerg is a beast.

Need to get Ndombele more involved as he is ridiculous on the ball and is key to us playing well, but goes missing too often.

Moura frustrates me more than any other Spurs player.

Overall a good 3 points, back to winning ways and a nice start to 2021

Great to get back to winning ways, everyone played their part - gave it to PEH who was everywhere

Others may have have made more of an impact, but for me Davies had a solid game so I chose him.

Hojbjerg for me. Son a close 2nd.

Defence did well as a unit. As did the midfield which should be our nailed on first choice at least until Lo Celso comes back.

Bergwign had a day to forget but plenty of effort.

Kane and Son still not 100% but better than some recent games. Think the extra rest helped them.

The difference between today and the past few games is that we took our chances better against a team that defended very poorly.

Other than that, we were our usual sloppy selves, losing and conceding possession frequently, despite Leeds being very very loose.

I'll take the win of course, but I wont say we've turned a corner yet. Still need to massively improve our possession of the ball.

Kane and Hojbjerg my joint MOM

Good performances from Kane, Son, Davies, Hojbjerg, but Ndombele gets my MOM. They couldn't cope with him at all and he did a good job closing Phillips down as well. Winks did well too.
