Literally the only positive I can take from that performance is there's only one game left. Jose should have been kept till the end of season and then pushed. It's nowhere near good enough in terms of effort from the players but Mason is clearly not ready. I watch his lifeless touchline display while next to him Smith is barking orders and tactics and I'm not sure he'll ever be a top manager. There's a huge difference between coaching and managing and plenty of great coach's don't have the minerals to do the ruthless side of managing a team. His insurance to pick those he played with over other options is a sign he doesn't want to upset the apple cart. Pathetic performance all round.

I'm just glad everyone is starting to see what I've been talking about all season. These players simply don't give a shit about our club. We saw the same thing under Poch, Mou and now Mason.

It's funny that most people said this squad could do better under any manager as long as Mou was sacked and low and behold they've actually managed to be more shit now that he's gone and his "toxic atmosphere" is gone too. Sacking was the right decision but the timing and the reasons? Complete bullshit. No wonder Kane has one foot out the door already.

We say this whether it's Hojbjerg/Winks/Lo Celso/Ndombele/Sissoko. Yes some/all have deficiencies, but at what point do people have to accept there are bigger issues at play.

Take today, were they perfect? No. But then they've got the likes of Alli and Bergwijn making half-arsed efforts to help them and Son and Kane making no effort. So as with most weeks the cm2 get dragged around the pitch non-stop and inevitably fail to put out the fires going on around them and look bad in the process.

As a collective we hang our back six - defence and cm2 - out to dry and have done most weeks for a few years now. We're too easy to play against, that starts from what we do at the front, we must become more compact as a whole team, and simply cant get away with numerous passengers and people who cant or wont put in the work and earn the right to play football.

Whenever, which is pretty much always, we start with 2 in CM, we get pumped. We do this so that we can have someone flouncing about in the 10 role and as a result we never get a grip in midfield, lose every 50/50 and second ball and have those players running on fumes. The longer it goes on, the worse it gets. Leicester will rip us to bits in midfield if we do it again.

Absolutely , all of this . But its Levy's decision to put the youngest manager in Prem history in the job...penny pinching presumably .

Anyway hardly important in the long term . What is important imo is the dismantling of the Poch team and the arrival of energetic new players. Prem normalcy in 2021 is largely to do with energy....we have a spectacular lack of it atm , just a change of coach clearly isn't the answer .

All deserve 0's.

I'm seriously still fuming after yesterday. This was the biggest letdown in a season of shitshows. Not even our pitiful EL exit was this bad.

We had the chance to cement European qualification for next season, as well as securing another finish above the Scum, and potentially West Ham. All that against a Villa side with nothing to play for, and we go and piss it all away in the most idiotic of circumstances.

It's been several years since I felt this low about the club.

I fucking hate you, Spurs.

SB looked lively, nabbed a good goal and got himself in scoring positions. Toby was pretty solid and Lloris and Tanganga didn’t do much wrong. all down hill from there.

Dele might have created a record of being the worst player on the field even with Reggie having an absolute mare Giving away two goals.

winks just an anonymous player and how he even got to start is a mystery, was GLC injured because only a blind fool would start Winks over him particularly given GLC was in my view the best of our lot against Wolves.

PEH lots of effort but ineffective, Son just ineffective again. How Son didnt get dragged god and Mason only knows. Kane pretty forgettable and having to drop deep because in Winks, Dele and PEH there was zero creativity.

Mason simply a possum in headlights. Poor team selection and that is kind, he has as much presence on the sideline as the corner flags and subs based on hope that Dele might role back the years and Son might wake up.

If this lot played darts there’d be darts in the barman’s eyes and arse instead of the dartboard.

Stevie the only player to come away with any positivity about his performance.

The rest, awful.

Couldn't care about Sunday, this season the club has managed to take any passion I had remaining for our club. Disgraceful performances, and worse decisions from Levy.
