Decent first half, pedestrian second.

Ref was terrible and ruined the game.

Paqueta is trash. 60m on that clogger, Jesus.

Kane, Davies, Perišić the best. We know Hugo isn’t the best on the ball, but for the most part it’s not an issue even when we do play out from the back. Tonight was different. But the whole team in the second half just kind of stopped making their marks on the game.

Another game where we started brightly, scored then completely surrended momentum to the opponent. I thought it was a dreadful spectacle, which I could have just about stomached if we took the 3 points, but it was painfully clear we weren’t going to do so.

Son was absolutely atrocious again. Richarlison is clearly the form player and has every right to be pissed off about only getting 15 mins or so.

Hugo - 3 made the whole back line nervous, hopefully his last season here football has evolved keepers need to be better with their feet.

Emerson 7 - he actually tried one of our better players

Sanchez 6 - see above but should have done better on the goal.

Dier 3 - see this is the problem when people start hyping him up he lets you down again he appeared for his annual bullying vs Antonio.

Davies 3 - shit, god awful.

Perisic 8 - sorry, that you’ve got to play with players so mentally weak.

Bissouma 3 - not the player I seen in a Brighton shirt but of course he’s tottenham now he wouldn’t be foot has come off the gas.

Hojbjerg 3 - his fault for the goal his constant pissing about you are either injured or you need the boot replaced don’t kill all momentum bu trying to be cute and experience when there’s no need when you are 1-0 up.

Kuluveski 7 - tried and created then they take him
Off why? ? laughable.

Kane 5 - ram the show first half but second half don’t think he knew if he wanted to play Centre mid or striker

Son - N/A not enough didn’t really see him.

LLoris - 0

Sanchez - 0
Dier - 0
Davies - 0

Royal - 6 Worked hard
Bissouma - 6 Poor first half but got us playing in the 2nd for 10 minutes
Hojbjerg - 6 Worked hard
Perisic - 8 Our only threat

Son - 4
Kane - 7 Generally decent, amazing run for the goal
Kulu - 6

The back 3 and Lloris get all 0's. I simply cannot believe I am still watching these 4 as a group fuck around at the back like they do. Individually I think they are decent players with some good qualities but watching this group try and play out from the back makes me want to retire from life.

Hugo, Sanchez and Emerson stifled any momentum and were all so bad on the ball, it was actually a joke.

They just can’t play out from the back, full stop.

Lloris cost us that goal with pathetic kick out of play following all that needless messing about with Højbjerg's boots. Out of the starting XI I thought Perisic, Bissouma, Kane and Kulusevski were the only ones who looked half decent, although Bissouma was rusty and walking a tightrope after an early yellow. Sanchez is clearly not good enough for us to play like this. Maybe play a CM at RCB if Romero is injured if we are going to insist on passing around at the back inviting pressure. With Lenglet and Romero either side of Dier, and Spence at RWB, Son in form, I think we will look a different team. Richarlison, once again, did more than most in a 15 min cameo .... time he started.

Lloris - 5
Emerson - 5
Sanchez - 5
Dier - 6
Davies - 6
Perisic - 7
Højbjerg - 6
Bissouma - 7
Son - 6
Kane - 7
Kulusevski - 6

Subs:
Richarlison - 8

Conte - 6 - A little frustrating how long he took to make a change and how few subs he used overall. Sessegnon and Spence coming on to stretch the game with wide pace would, along with Richarlison, have been a sign of intent to win the game. I can kind of see Conte's thinking though and we are 8 points better off compared to last seasons' corresponding fixtures. He will see this as a good point. We are hard to beat, and he is setting us up not to lose - we are unbeaten after all after some tough fixtures - primarily to get the season underway. Maybe this is how a title winning manager approaches a season - marathon and not a sprint.

I thought that was a poor game to spectate. On both sides. But we didn't lose.

Really, it was a mentality problem. They all know how to play better but they collectively lost the plot at the back in the second half. It wasn't just lloris, some of the decision making was mind boggling by the defenders.

Thought we looked decent glong forwards, just lacked that edge.

Bissouma calmed a little as the game went on, but you can see why conte was gradual about bringing him through. He's an awesome player, but needs time to understand the role. Its a very demanding one, think he was over thinking things a fair bit.

Perisic was classy, kane and kulu had a decent game.

Not much else to add. Bit disappointed really as I was hoping for more in terms of performance levels, but still would have been happy with a point, if that makes sense.

Perisic and Royal tried their best, PEH too considering the injury and being outnumbered for the 100th time, and this time playing next to a player who is still trying to settle plus on a yellow card. Deki was good too, weird sub.

Unfair to put Emerson in that equation. I thought Lloris was so bad with the ball at feet and Sanchez for some crazy reason was left to be the ball playing centre back...not his strongest point.

Stupid early yellow card from Bissouma today completely dilluted his game, so silly.

Both sides were absolutely shit if I'm honest.

Perisic, Deki and Emerson were the pick of our bunch. Hugo and back 3 need to go back to school.

Emerson refused to help Sanchez, it is a massive part of the problem.

Sanchez needs to play next to someone comfortable on the ball, Emerson hides from it.
