I'm not convinced our players are confident. Whilst we "dominated" possession I don't think the players were allowed to make runs and give options.

Players need to be given freedom to push up and be positive. Otherwise it's pointless... Like we were today

It’s almost like we are using these games as pre season games to work on different systems

I said the same thing to my mate, Jose has written off the league he said as much last week when he said he's looking forward to working with Kane and Son next season - think he's experimenting a little bit for the remaining matches personally.

Mostly 6’s all round to be honest.
1st half we played fairly well, 2nd half we let them score quite easily.
Aurier had a good game going forwards and Tanganga and Dier and Sanchez did some good bits of defending but then and Davies combined also let Wolves through us quite easily but it’s not helped by the fact we don’t keep the ball brillianlty, we don’t stretch teams and we don’t have a DM.

Have to also say whilst he was tenacious and some passing was nice, 2 of winks crosses were appalling and I love the guy but can’t help but feel he’s a mid table prem player or at very best he could work in a midfield 3 with 2 box to box players either side of him.

Bergweign another goal and did ok, Dele did ok up top but moaned a lot, Lucas was typical Lucas, worked hard but not a particularly big threat. Lo Celso was pretty class as usual.

The set up was ok to be honest but defensively we looked very vunerable again and a bit toothless going forward

Well I can't see working system with players available and there might not even be one, can see him being rather baffled about it too and just trying to test whatever lacking gameplan might just work a bit.

All the boys were playing at a seven for the first twenty minutes. We looked really good, I thought. Then they make one small chance, we go full keystone cops at the back again, and that is that. From that point we never really got back on top. Most were too passive again. To me, only Winks Lucas, and Lo Celso deserve some credit for trying. Most everyone else just had no fight in them. Again.

Not sure how anyone has Dele as anything more than a 5 today. Once more he was dithering on the ball, weak in the challenge and passive defensively. This is not the same player from three years ago. Or maybe he is, and defenders have just figured him out. He’s been dining out on his reputation for far too long.

First time since Joss has arrived that I have felt less than confident with his decision making. We are getting progressively worst each game. Feels like his decision making on tactics is fear based. The players pick up on this and play accordingly. There is no daring and hardly any doing. We just look impotent and disinterested.

One does wonder, if we get knocked out of the fa cup and cL in the next couple of weeks and continue to drift into the bottom half of the table, then you wonder if Levy will have confidence in Jose to back him in preseason. Because we starting to look even worse than unde Poch during the first third of the season.

Last time we were this piss poor was under AVB.

What a massive fall from grace this has been.

The last 18 months under poch (the odd game aside) were "this piss poor."

The champion's League run tends to cloud the memory.

Tanganga was very poor had a hand in all 3 if their goals, I don't think the back 3 suited us, defensively we really didn't know what we were doing.

I thought we actually played well in large parts of that game but it also showed why we are lacking a proper striker, 2 or 3 of Aurier's crosses were excellent just no one on the end of them.

I thought Winks and Lo Celso were also very good, not sure why Winks is getting a hard time?

The whole of their front 3 would walk into our team right now.

Inevitable teamwork problems at the back.

Midfield 2 were good.

Aurier was better than Davies.

4 quality goals, I enjoyed the game.

How you can single out Dele Alli and break down his performance as dithering and weak when he had a hand in both our goals then claim Lucas tried is a joke

Wow

I must have watched a different game. Should have gone 3-1 up just before they got back to 2-2 and it wouldn’t have been unjustified at that time

They rested a few midweek so were fresher than some may think
Thought we deserved at least a point if not more.
The ratings depending on the result are always funny to see. Most games that we’ve won we’ve been extremely fortunate

I thought we played alright against a dangerous side with a full squad as opposed to us missing our 3 of our best players and 80% of our goals!!!

1) Not for this thread
2) Not interested in getting into a war or words with you

Fair enough but this seems to me like you are not sure, yourself. I'm not sure what else he could of done today ? Start vertonghen and Toby? Maybe bring parrot on earlier? Not sure if parrot would of done anything, no harm in bringing him on though,Lucas had done everything he could, Ali was one of the poorer one again I thought .A few things but I think overall there wasn't much else he could of done, we have played much worse than that and won. We missed lamela today , I think he would of been the only would who could of changed that game .If we had won that I think everyone would be saying how good we played , today we was unlucky. I am still worried under mourinho, especially against the top teams but we have to see what he can do with new signings etc.

Lo Celso - 8
Aurier - 7
Winks - 6
Tanganga - 3
Everyone else - 5

Jose - 1. Whats the fuckin point of putting Parrott on in the 90th minute? Whats the bloody point? And making subs reactively rather than proactively? Whats your excuse this time in the press conference?
We were too nice apparently.

Good game. Wolves are a very good side. Without a striker any team would be toothless up top. We are no different.

We played ok, I don't get some of the negative stuff being said here. But despite that, unfortunately for us the result is disastrous.

Teams know how we will play and without teeth up front there's nothing we can do about that. Expect more of the same.

Gazza 6 really didnt do much, not at fault for anything nothing of consequence saved

Aurier 8
Sometimes it works sometimes not. Made a difference for us

Sanchez 6
Positioning sometimes seems off for me

Tanganga 7
I really like his fight, positioning is ok sometimes can come a cropper to a more seasoned player but though he did well and always assertive which I like

Davies 6 nothing special today

Dier 7 though he played quite well,no defender was spectacular too many spaces

Winks 6 Had opportunities. Not the worst player not the best. Its hard to expect a lot from him. And yet he sometimes gets headline status. I see him as mediocre.

Lo Celso 7.5
Was our best player as far as control goes and balance of his game. A little more end product should come from it

Dele 5 yes some good defensive work and a couple of good runs but doesnt get near his potential. Annoyingly casual.

Bergwjin 7 cant go wrong with him not his best today

Moura 5.5 great first 10 minutes then ran into walls while doing cartwheels on the floor, the crowd called out for more...

Which goes to show we all see things a little differently. Such is the nature of subjective interpretation. You see Dele being instrumental, and I see a player who has to me, come to symbolize our wretched form. But I do respect your perspective. And I also try my level best not to patronize those I disagree with. I personally don’t believe a different opinion should be belittled and/or scolded, as a way of expressing an opposing point of view. I invite discourse... but do not get the warm fuzzies when it comes to derisory rebutal. Everyone should be treated with respect and dignity. Well, mostly everyone. Arsenal and Chelsea fans are the exception. ?

What I'm trying to say is... Can't we all just be a smidge nicer to one another, every now and then?
