I may sound utterly ludicrous, but I still am more confident of winning the UEFA Cup than the League Cup.

I know we are in the final of the League Cup, and I know it's a one-off game but it's going to take a big performance to lift the trophy. we need 100 per cent concentration throughout, and need to exert ourselves from start to finish (in fairness what we failed to do yesterday and during a majority of the season so far)
With a two-legged draw until the cup final of the UEFA, I think Ramos could make it work, and I am more confident of beating Bayern, say for instance, at the Lane over Chelsea or Man Utd.

Then, of course, it comes down to the one-off final so maybe I'm spouting rubbish . . . but i think we will win a trophy this year, just don't get to down on Feb 24 - because it might just be the other one.

I honestly think we can beat Chelsea.

We're showing a real hunger at the moment and yesterdays selections just shows where Ramos' priorities lie and that's our up and coming cup fixtures.

It's our time.

Depends which Tottenham shows up.

Hopefully it'll be the Spurs that beat Arsenal and drew with United, and not the one that turned up at Chelsea last month.

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say I'm more confident of winning the one where we're in the final rather than the one where we're in the last 32. I'm not afraid of airing controversial opinions.

 i am not trying to be a pessimist, not at all.

Whether we win or not in the CC, I think we will win the UEFA.

Well we're 8-1 to win the UEFA and 6-4 to win the Carling.

Your answer's pretty much there..

realistically intertoto. (we must be able to cruise through it)

hopefully the carling. (need lots of luck, chelscum will go out to win it - it's not an ordinary game for them - it's a cup final in a weak season for them and they are a top european club with sh*tloads of experience in matches like this one)

a dream come true - UEFA. (let's not fool ourselves, look what type of clubs we will have to face and we will have to do it on top of our main focus - reach 8th place in the league)

hopefully the FA. (need lots of luck, chelscum will go out to win it - it's not an ordinary game for them - it's a cup final in a weak season for them and they are a top european club with sh*tloads of experience in matches like this one)

Think you might find that it's the carling cup... AND I'M FREAKIN GOING! (just a tad over-excited)

Well we're 8-1 to win the UEFA and 6-4 to win the Carling..

It's 7/1 most places and Madrid are about the same, even the favourites are only 3-1.

I'd fancy us against Munich over Chelsea, especially in a semi-final

We're 8-1 at Paddypower.

The mainstream bookies generally offer poorer odds.

My partner and several of the guys who work for us are all Chelsea supporters and they are honestly worried about playing us. They all rate Ramos and wanted him for their manager. They think with King ,Woody and Hutton available we have a really strong defence and although they feel they have the edge in midfield we are very strong up front with Berbs and Aaron real threats.
I must agree that its easier to win one game then get through from the last 32 so IMHO the CC is the easier competion to win.

we've got a chance against Chelsea...

lets face it, last time we played them in the League Cup we beat them 5-1...

it'll be very difficult, especially since they'll have Drogba, Kalou and probably Terry back, but we've got a chance. We beat a full strength Chelsea team last year.

Drogba is my main worry, he has yet to score against us!

Wish the ANC had another two weeks to go!

We can beat Chelsea. To think otherwise just because we had a bad outing at Derby in which we won 3-0, is dumb. Our team is totally different with King at the back. If King and Woodgate are at the back I will be very confident of our chances.
