We have 2 weeks of cup football ahead of us, no PL interference, and no FA Cup, A 2 legged UEFA Cup game against a medium difficult team that we have already turned over last year, then the final the following Sunday after our UEFA games are out the way.

The preperation is excellent for the final and we will be raring to go in all three game as i doubt there will no one in the team that isn't motivated for theses matches i believe we are gonna win all three.

Chelsea and PSV will be very tough games but we are a decent side and can give anyone a game.

It's all about taking your chances on the day.

We have a chance in the Carling Cup final, a better chance than the Uefa Cup, seeing as we are already in the final for league cup.

We can beat Chelsea, but it will not be easy, Chelsea have been winning some tough games, even though they have been missing a fair few key players, although as someone said, on our day we can beat them.

I can't see us getting past Munich, Ribery is awesome and Klose just always scores all the time, FACT.

Carling Cup, like someone said earlier, it depends which Tottenham turn up. We have the ability to beat them, the doubts are over the mental aspects.

UEFA is just a long way to go with many banana skins.

I do think the 'right' Spurs team will turn up at Wembley (along with the right me).

Lots of class in Chelscum and Drogba always a worry but I think Ramos and a fully fit Woody & King, with Hutts will deal with him.

I'm convinced it will be an afternoon of immense performances and Ramos will tacticaly win the day too.

Still, being greedy, I'll happily take both! COYS

We can win both, we are good enough to beat any of the teams we have to play in order to win either trophy.

Chelsea will be a very tough game but if the players do what is required of them Ramos will do the rest.

I am confident that we will win one and if we win the CC we will win both.

one look at the odds is enough to show most people think we have a far greater chance of CC than UEFA Cup victory

if we get no further injutries and everyone except the long term injured is available including King

then we can put out a team to worry CFC big-time - we'll be outsiders but something like 7-4 probably to win outright - we're what about 9/1 to win UEFA?

If we play like we did against the scum and manure....I think we can overcome Chelsea although there are bound to be some nasty nail biting moments as always!

The chances of winning the CC is 50% since we're in the Final. The chances of winning the Uefa Cup should be about 25%.

Hi Chinaman - I don't think it's 50% - looking at our recent record v Chelsea and the current strength of both squads - it's more like 33% to me

The UEFA probably 20-25% is about right

It's not as clear cut as that. If that were the case then the bookies would have both sides down as evens to win. Chelsea will start as favourites no doubt, the odds will change slightly depending on injuries and suspensions but DC Boy is closer to the mark with his 33%.

As I explained yesterday, that's not really a good way of comparing it. You're comparing two completely different things. We're joint second favourites to win the UEFA cup. The odds reflect the number of games left, as I say even Munich are 3-1.

Let's not forget that Bolton managed a draw in Germany and they're not even good enough to get into the CL. That doesn't mean they'll be a push over but are people saying that Munich are better than ManU or Chelsea?!

Hi Camaj :) it may not be a good way of comparing it to you but it is to me - the respective odds do give a good indication of the respective chances

I got my percentages wrong yesterday - I reckon it's about 33% to win Carling and about 10-15% to win UEFA

...

Of course it's a good way of comparing it.

The odds represent the chances of the respective events taking place.

The UEFA cup is still fairly open as there's several rounds of knockout competition remaining. Munich are 3-1 as there's still 31 other teams remaining, each with a chance of winning the competition, however small.

In the CC there's just two teams, us and Chelsea. Of course we've a better chance of winning that..
