I wouldn't want either of them but I would be very worried about Bale going the other way.
Top class team, top class manager and guaranteed to win major trophies.

From what I can recall Gomez is supposed to be on crazy wages.

Can't believe people not wanting Robben. Geezers fucking mustard. Worked his nuts off Tuesday.
I agree he was nothing short of brilliant on Tuesday, BUT he has been really poor at times, last season he single handily ruined Bayern's season in every critical match

Every year I would love to him here but this time, its a no from me. I happy with the 3 wingers we have I would rather we sign a wide man that can play up front and is intelligent to get involved in play and isnt anonymous like a Schurrle or we sign a intelligent wide player like in the style of either Reus or Isco

What about Kroos? Probably out of our league at the moment but he's an awesome player I just wonder how often he'll play now that Bayern have bought Gotze.

Interesting dilemma for the national team as well in the attacking midfield position. Kroos, Ozil, or Gotze? Tough choice but I think Gotze is probably the best of the 3.

Just wondering what are people's reasons for not wanting Robben? Injuries? Personality?

Solely injuries. He's played 300 matches in 13 years and his injury problems will not get any better once he hits 30 next January.

IMO this is a better way to look at taking advantage of the situation - the "knock on" effect. Kroos is a class player and much more likey a possibility for Spurs. He's not bavarian (they like to stay in munich) and I am sure Herr Freund is very aquainted with him - maybe a nice opportunity to connect like Holtby? Just throwing that out there :mask:

I see Gotze's arrival potentially upsetting the apple cart at bayern munich and changing the national team. Ozil is getting less playing time and looks like his "stock" with the national team might be faling... Kroos had a blinding season for leverkusen the season before last and is on the rise with the national team. Let's hope guardiola doesn't require him or needs to sell him for some other funding :jimlad:

All a pipedream really, but if he's available then he's a class for Spurs to approach -- BUT SPURS MUST SECURE CL FOOTIE TO EVEN THINK ABOUT THINGS SUCH AS THIS,... just sayin' :ninja:

both big game chokers so they would suit spurs, every final I have seen robben in champions league and world cup final he has choked it missing pentaltys and one on ones inluding the final against inter milan.

After he missed that penalty in extra time v chelsea last season I couldn't forgive him, and I loved him as a player before that

I don't see Gomez as a big game choker. People say he flopped last year in the CL final but apart from missing a half chance header, I didn't see him do much wrong. Besides, the Champions League is the biggest stage in club football and he scored 13 goals in it last year, while he didn't do too badly for Germany during the last Euro. Hard to disagree about Robben though..
