He said the only team he'd leave Madrid for is Man United

Citeh and Chelsea are the only ones who could afford him. Bad news for us if he comes back, Real would definitely go for Bale.

I'd like it if Man U got him back. Would be good for the league, also would stick two fingers up at City.

Obviously it would be splendid if we got him, but that won't happen so I want him to go back to Utd.

It's good for our league that the top teams are strong (aside from money-spending cheating teams with no honour like City and Chelski).

Spurs should be able to match these teams on merit, not because they are weakened.

Obviously Ronaldo is one of the best wingers around but I'm quite happy with what Lennon and Bale bring us, Bale especially but Lennon is also a good little player.

We just need to make sure our centre forward position is secured and I think Caulker will strengthen us greatly at centre back, he really does just give me a good feeling.

Keep all the other main players and we'll be challenging again next season regardless of what the others do.

I'd have him at Spurs, now if only I won the EuroMillions to fund it!

My contacts amongst Real Madrid supporters have heard nothing of this.
I think it is the rumours about Mourinho that have led to this speculation.
From my own observation Ronaldo is still very much adored by the fans
and it is journalists' criticism that have upset him from time to time.

I'm not getting drawn into this thread, its a non-starter.
But anyone who would prefer Bale to Ronaldo needs their head looked at. Whilst I am a firm believer that Bale is slowly growing into a Superstar, Ronaldo is already there, the real deal. We'd probably win the league with him.

No.

1) Although Ronald is superior in certain respects, Bale is as far more 'complete' player.
2) He'd ditch us at the drop of a hat, probably by running down his contract so he could cash in on a free.
3) He's a scuzzbucket.
