My point is that if you educated yourself a little more, you might have a bit more empathy.
Well I suppose that's true, although you're essentially saying that you're a sociopath.
It also seems less than kind to bar your own father from watching you play for England at the WC. The guy who gets home from Wembley at 3am after watching you play before getting up at 7am for work the next morning. .And why? Because you're worried that him being badly treated in Russia would affect *your* preparation for matches. The guy's just lost his brother, ffs. I can't see this as anything but selfish and mean-spirited. The depression may well have something to do with that - it can make people self-absorbed and insensitive to others - but it doesn't make it right or 'brave'.
Interesting.
Interesting.
Having a quick browse of illnesses, there are signs of mania in Rose which after all is often paired with depression: Anger, aggression, paranoia, loss of insight of own odd behaviour, impulsive, taking risks etc.
But this same mania has given him the energy and drive to be the best left back in the country and a very very rich man. A blessing and a curse.
But what shouldn't be happening is the press having totally free access to him, because he really could say anything. Tottenham let him down by letting the Sun of all papers have an interview last year and likewise Southgate has let him down badly this week.
After all, even MP has a press officer with him in the prematch interviews.
This sort of comment can be incredibly dangerous. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you said it through ignorance rather than malevolence and recommend reading up a little about mental health.
A couple of links that would be worth checking out to ensure you're well prepared if anyone you care about ever experiences mental health issues:
https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/

Try to think a bit more about what you're saying in future, not only for your benefit but for the benefit of those around you. For obvious reasons, mental health is a very sensitive subject and thoughtless comments can potentially have more serious consequences than you realise.
EDIT: same goes to @Double_A and @Yid_Summers. Educate yourselves. Football is not the most important thing in the world.
