I always thought the flipping cryptics in the transfer forum is enough to turn one bipolar...........the resaults seem clear in here!!

We had Hotspur go off the rails......who's next?

My point is that if you educated yourself a little more, you might have a bit more empathy.

Your point is futile. I’m educated on it. I just don’t care about people that are in the media spotlight. Maybe you should educate yourself, and realise having empathy has nothing to do with being educated.

Well I suppose that's true, although you're essentially saying that you're a sociopath.

No, you’re saying I’m a sociopath. I have empathy, but I tend to save it for those deserving. Athletes, television personalities, celebrities in general for me, don’t deserve it.

So carry on.

Brilliant interview, I've always had all the time in the world for Danny even when our fans turned on him in 2014. Was a bit pissed at his interview with the Sun but I now recognise the angle he was coming from, top lad.

It also seems less than kind to bar your own father from watching you play for England at the WC. The guy who gets home from Wembley at 3am after watching you play before getting up at 7am for work the next morning. .And why? Because you're worried that him being badly treated in Russia would affect *your* preparation for matches. The guy's just lost his brother, ffs. I can't see this as anything but selfish and mean-spirited. The depression may well have something to do with that - it can make people self-absorbed and insensitive to others - but it doesn't make it right or 'brave'.

What the entire fuck is this post?

Interesting.
Having a quick browse of illnesses, there are signs of mania in Rose which after all is often paired with depression: Anger, aggression, paranoia, loss of insight of own odd behaviour, impulsive, taking risks etc.

But this same mania has given him the energy and drive to be the best left back in the country and a very very rich man. A blessing and a curse.

But what shouldn't be happening is the press having totally free access to him, because he really could say anything. Tottenham let him down by letting the Sun of all papers have an interview last year and likewise Southgate has let him down badly this week.

After all, even MP has a press officer with him in the prematch interviews.

Who says the press have a free run at him? The latest interview was at St George's Park.

This sort of comment can be incredibly dangerous. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you said it through ignorance rather than malevolence and recommend reading up a little about mental health.

A couple of links that would be worth checking out to ensure you're well prepared if anyone you care about ever experiences mental health issues:

https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/

https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/helping-someone-else/

Try to think a bit more about what you're saying in future, not only for your benefit but for the benefit of those around you. For obvious reasons, mental health is a very sensitive subject and thoughtless comments can potentially have more serious consequences than you realise.

EDIT: same goes to @Double_A and @Yid_Summers. Educate yourselves. Football is not the most important thing in the world.

You don't know anything about me, nor what experience/knowledge I have of mental health.

What I said was 100% factually correct. In an aggressive tone ? yeah, factually correct none the less. I mean who in their right mind (no pun intended) tells a journalist rather than their family first.

Serious problem with injured sports stars we should have a sports psychologist on staff especially to deal this with injured players. Look what happened to Ledley and turning to binge drinking to deal with it. Yes I do not think Danny Rose has dealt with this in the right way. But he also would not still be at Spurs if he did not get injured.
