Tell me how is "posturing" going to make any difference to whether anybody bids for Barclay or not?? He's not "posturing" at all, he simply saying nobody has bid which is no doubt true due to the price Everton were asking.

It is funny how when you read these press conference quotes they come across totally different than when you actually watch them and see how it is said.

He also said he does expect a club to come in for Barkley because he is a very good young english player. That Big offer thing,he was basically saying that recent transfer prices are so high that Barkley must be worth a big fee, which of course would be true if it wasn't for the final year of contract situation.
