What are peoples thoughts on this? I was watching soccer saturday earlier and the pundits were generally quite critical of AVB for constantly changing the CB pairing, saying that the CB pairing along with the keeper is one of the most crucial partnerships in the team and shouldnt be rotated.
I see there point but I also like the way we have rotated to suit the opponents we face. Ie when against a big strong striker ie Kenwyne Jones, Andy Carroll it makes sense to have someone like Dawson or Kaboul playing but when you have a nippier striker ie Aguero you need a CB who can read the game a little better ie Caulker.
Struggling to think of a team that Gallas would be best to play against though.........
Thoughts?
