I wish we had a good AI model that could summarise long videos. I would pay for that shit. :ROFLMAO:

Well, having skipped through, it seems that the only thing he has to say is that the Spurs academy director Simon Davies, who Paratici managed to poach from City, has confirmed that the club is now intent on aligning the academy teams to the same footballing philosophy as the first team and that the intention is that even if Ange leaves at some point, future first team managers will always be chosen to ensure they continue along the same lines so that this same footballing philosophy will always underpin all the teams at the club, across the academy and first team. He also says that Simon Davies told him he is more excited about the work our academy is doing now then anything he ever saw at City's

Just listened to the whole thing and that's the gist, repeated constantly, in different ways for 54 mins. Same philosophy throughout the club and players/managers will be brought in who fit that.

Only other real insight was that he was saying that Dier will 100% be gone

Thanks for the summary. Strange that they’d reveal the Dier info unless any deal is already agreed (albeit in private)

To be fair, I would listen to just that for 54 mins on loop...😂

Someone on the feed mentioned Dier, and it was more like 'trust me, I've heard from people there and Dier will not be getting a new contract'. He said it at least twice.

I’m sure this has been the aspiration for a lot of us; be the Ajax of England with a conveyor belt of talent coming through every season to either integrate into the first team or sell for profit. Have fun watching the football and have regular upturn cycles where the squad just fits perfectly and can compete for and win major honours.

We’re not going to be a Real Madrid type anytime soon, with perpetual domination, but we could have had this thing in place ages ago if we properly saw the approach through around about the late 2000s/ early 2010s.

It's impossible to have a conveyor belt of talent from the academy. Ajax can pick off the best in Holland or most of it. The competition for talent here is fierce with the other PL sides.

I agree that the competition is more fierce here than Ajax has in Netherlands, but I also think that we would have three trump cards which would mean that, more often than not, we could secure some of the best young talent compared to our competitors; our facilities, being in London and, hopefully, this exciting style of football embedded all throughout the football structure. We obviously would be lucky to produce top level talents every year so couldn’t bank on that, but we can certainly do better than what we have the past few years. If chelsea could do it then so can we, and even better.
