Tottenham have had discussions with Eintracht Frankfurt about their 21-year-old midfielder Sebastian Rode, BBC Sport learns. It is understood the German club, who recently won promotion back to the Bundesliga, do not want to sell. Rode has played for the Germany national team at youth level.

He's a DM and he started 33 of Eintract's 34 matches. Considering we have Parker, Sandro and Livermore, it would be an odd choice as we have other areas that need to be addressed.

If he happened to be a DM who possesses decent passing ability and great awareness of movement around him then he's the exact type of player we should be looking at for the future in my opinion. I'd also generally love to see us take a punt on a few younger talents again.

I've been following frankurt this season, don't remember too much of this fella tho. But I agree we should take a punt on these sort of players if the price is reasonable.

Possibly ties in with ITK.... Which mentioned him being an upgrade.

EDIT - I'm crap at cryptic... After reading other threads my version of the ITK looks out of whack.
