Soldado?

I miss the transfer rumours thread. I'm not entirely convinced by Soldado he's doing well at the moment does anyone have any views on this?

Surprised we haven't been linked with him before. Levy et all surely trawled through Spain and yet he's one of the few good strikers we might have/ did have a chance to sign.

Still, he's not that big target man and he isn't an Aguero so maybe that's why we've never, AFAIK, been linked before. If we can get Ade and/or Leandro as a big man up front for next season, he would be a very good addition to the strikers, for mine.

he's very much a purple patch striker. i remember last season where he hadn't scored in 15 games or something, before the next game he told the media that he would score .. and he did ... 4 times.

Would love Soldado. Has been putting up great numbers year after year, for a while now. Good all round ability and wouldn't cost as much as other names such as Rossi or Llorente.

Yeah, he always has impressed me whenever I've seen him play, which isn't all that often tbh.

He's a bloody hard worker - he'd be an asset.

A good player to be sure, an upgrade on Defoe, but not really the type of player I'd like to see us going for in that he's not very tall and he's more of a last man poacher type like Defoe.

Doumbia or Leandro for me.

As a Valencia supporter I can tell you he is quality. Had a bit of a rought start after the transfer from Getafe, but he is a really good player. He will score goals, no question.
