Tactically it's almost worked perfectly. It's obvious the plan has been to drop off, coax Southampton forward and then take advantage of them being absolutely wide open and legs spread for the reaming on the counter attack. We've put together slick moves, very good ones in fact, to get in but our front line particularly Son and Moura have totally barbecued them and undone the hard work. No excuse for not converting either of the chances especially the Moura one and the disallowed goal was a bit unfortunate seeing as Son was picking himself up off the floor but when you've had the first half he's had you're not in the mood to be charitable.
If counter opportunities keep happening then you'd hope we convert one, but it's a dangerous game considering we're not exactly rock solid defensively and soaking up pressure always has that element of danger to it in any case.
