I do think the system is causing the majority of the issues both with and without the ball. Playing a high line with 2 holding players seems strange to me as the gap between the back 6 and front 4 has been too big as the front 4 seem to go and press and the other 6 seem to hold there shape. Giving so much room to play through

As for Winks he doesn’t look fit. He’s usually everywhere and working his bollocks off. He’s not at it today, and wasn’t at it last week.

Yeah it's a fair point. He's obviously protecting Lo Celso (among others) and easing him back in.

Just a shame that our entire capacity to function as a football team seems to rest on Lo Celso playing rather than due to a coherent system of play (which is the job of the manager to sort out).
