Better going forward, shambolic defensively.Any sensible answers to how we’ve been playing? I’m not watching the game. Sounds like a good game, hopefully we hang on or get a 4th.
Usually when a player has to work as hard as he does it’s because they’re not top top quality, sure working hard in that role should be a given but usually quality players just make the game look easier even whilst they’re trying hard , modric, Bentancur, dembele, Bissouma even, carrick, etc PEH is so much hussle and bussle, that’ll only get you so far imo.The first one??
I missed it
But the second he comes flying out, despite Son already pressing that player, doesn't play a slight bit of attention to the free player. Then when the ball is moved on and they are in a good position he spends the time protesting.
He's bang average and gets far top much praise from some.
Rewarded for mediocrity
Who’s been good or bad individually mate?Better going forward, shambolic defensively.
I fell asleep earlier for the first time whilst watching spurs in over 40 years.Any sensible answers to how we’ve been playing? I’m not watching the game. Sounds like a good game, hopefully we hang on or get a 4th.
All over the place. Typical performance from this season.Any sensible answers to how we’ve been playing? I’m not watching the game. Sounds like a good game, hopefully we hang on or get a 4th.
Absolutely incredible that we’d withdraw a fullback but it not be Perisic. Stunning. If we concede down the left Conte should be sacked instantaneously
I guess we're keeping the same shape, but tbh moving to a 352 and securing the middle might be a better call.Strange subs
Disagree. Need more bodies in midfield and enerson is solid defensivelyStrange subs
Strange subs
Probably because the defender could do better. It's an amusing, perennial curiosity that, when we concede a goal, about 10% of the time the commentators (in this case online) attribute it to bad defending. For instance, both of Southampton's goals today have been entirely credited to their architects and scorers, with no mention of any failings by the defenders.
For the same goals, week after week, 90% of contributors to the math threads blame a specific, individual Spurs defender and no one ever credits the opposition attackers.
Changing the manager and most of the players would be the best call.I guess we're keeping the same shape, but tbh moving to a 352 and securing the middle might be a better call.
Every day in training Danjuma must be turning up late and then squatting down for a dump near the corner flag before refusing to join in.
Højbjerg awful for both goals, leaves other players helplessly exposed by just charging around like a headless chicken. Dier also not great.Who’s been good or bad individually mate?
Yes. Such a shame. Conte is so safety 1st and never trusts a young player unless forced into itHas anyone noticed that since Sarr had a brilliant performance at away to AC Milan that he has not had a look in
