I have to say though, the penalty is extremely harsh.
Was a farcical decision. JWP hand ball was more stonewall pen than that. Sick of VAR to the core. At least stick to their fucking consistency standard. Bunch of knobs sitting inside the room seeing worse than some of the poor stream fans are watching.

Can we fuss up and get the ref sack like how the scums did?

Deciding to sit back against the worst team in the league when you're 3-2 up with ten minutes to go is a practically criminal decision on Contes part.

Perisic destabilises it. He’s one of the worst defenders I’ve seen in a Spurs shirt for a long time. Awful transfer.
He is never a defender, only Conte rates him as one. Not even sure why we signed him in the first place.

We just lack a calm head at the back in these situations. Lots of arm waving and pointing for the sake of it but there's next to nothing in terms of actual nous in terms of trying to settle things down and take the sting out of the situation. Of course its not easy, especially after Southampton bought on those attacking subs but you know what's coming.

To be fair, it's not surprising with what we have in defence. Dier as the senior defender has never been up to it and never will, Romero isn't that type of defender and needs someone beside him who can calm him down and Lenglet is a pretty average stop gap.

We were shit all game in fairness. Just fed up of these awful tactics.
Whatever ones view on the tactics - if you can't play simple 5 and 10 yard passes around your midfield and defence without tripping over your own two feet, that's not on any coach, that's because you react poorly under the slightest hint of pressure.

I mentally accepted that this team wasn't achieving anything meaningful when we went out of the cup to Sheffield United. It softens the blow on days like today. If we somehow stumble into fourth it'll be both a miracle and a travesty based on who manages to finish below us.
Bit like last season, only way it happens is if someone blows up.

We were better in the first half in relation to the second but in general it was quite the poor performance. Brief moments of quality amongst mediocrity. If they had better finishing they could have won. Romero and Porro were good first half, second half everyone was meh. Honestly a really poor performance in the grand scheme of things. We let them play and shouldn’t have drawn this
Thanks mate. They said on the radio poor subs from conte and we dropped off at 3-1 and invited them back into the game? Sounds about right sigh 😔

Wouldn't have been robbed if we'd just kept playing. Deciding to sit on a lead is what killed us, complete suicide.
Exactly.

I barely mustered any joy when we scored the 3rd because I was concerned with what would happen should Southampton score.

I mean last week we should have beaten Forest 4 or 5 nil but nearly came away with a narrow 3-2 win.

I knew we'd buckle should they score.

Our players dont have the quality to maintain possession under pressure but not only that out limited passing structure means it's easy to combat by really getting tight to Kane.

I don't know how long this clip will stay up but ... there's no touch there. I cannot understand how the VAR didn't overturn that, it's objectively a wrong decision.

Now I said and maintain that we lost through our own fault and shouldn't blame anyone but ourselves but that is a wrong decision.

Let’s hear the excuses about levy being a dick and individual errors. All true but doesn’t change the fact that this is just a really poorly coached football team at the moment. Our defenders aren’t great but they aren’t as shit as this. 49 goals conceded is just not good enough
