I agree he should get a shot, but I think offensively he is still really green so in terms of output I am just not sure we will see it or Conte will accept it. Doherty for me is the best fit at the moment.

Sorry mate I disagree the team has got away with it so far against a few teams but tonight have been deservedly punished.
I didn't see the game because I'm out of the country right now, but if it's anything like the rubbish I have seen to date I have not missed anything.
The wingbacks and the midfield create next to nothing and the forward line can barely control the ball and bring people into the game.

Kane and Son haven’t suddenly become shit, they’re world class and their form will kick in again at some point and we’ll be punishing teams again.

Conte is an amazing manager. I just find us incredibly dull to watch.

It’s ‘result is everything’ football this season but we know we can be good to watch too because the second half of last season showed us that. Not sure what’s going on but the lack of movement and the constant misplaced passes are alarming. It’s hugely dull to watch though, I completely agree.

Sanchez was performing at a higher level than Romero has been since he came back in the side. Guy looks half fit to me. I’m not even sure Perisic is playing any better than Sessegnon was. Pick on your usual scapegoats but I’d rather pick on guys who I know are better than showing. Kane despite a few goals has been awful this season in nearly every single game. Hojbjerg despite a few goals is an absolute liability with his passing at times.

it’s very concerning that regardless of who our manager is, since 2018 our default mode is flat, lethargic football. it’s been this way with Poch, Jose, Nuno and now Conte.

I've heard City fans say Pep hasn't got a plan B, I've heard liverpool fans say Klopp hasn't got a plan B. Bielsa himself says he hasn't got a plan B as they spend all their time working on plan A.

It's a nothing worry, imo.

Outside of Ajax and Dortmund away in the CL, I honestly don't remember us winning many games away in either Europa or the CL, let alone the Conference last season.

Honestly don’t think it’s a bad thing that turned out like that. Team need to realise that these coasting, handbrake on performances won’t always result in a positive outcome .

Kulu needs to start more than any other of our attacking line. Don’t care who for.

It’s becoming pretty obvious how weak our right side is.

343 is why we're too slow and one paced. Our front three can't play against a back three. They've looked bad in the majority of games against one, and most teams are playing with a back three or reverting to one out of possession against us. Our midfield get over run and it's easy to cut out our passing lanes. We've actually played some good attacking football against a back five the few times we went with a 352 formation, and I think it's something we need to try again.

I think it's how we are playing it.
Too many players behind the ball when we have it, and passing it back to the cb's just let's every team get back.

I'm not against a change in formation, but I do think 343 can work

For the next game it's not as radical as it sounds imo. Adds to collective responsibility whilst reducing the individual burden and damages confidence less (especially that of Son).

Mate what has last season got to do with anything.
The team right now is not functioning and the signings in key areas still have not been addressed.
Maybe they will pick up but we are so so lucky that we have not played a really good side tonight because it could have been carnage.
