Hojbjerg absolute shite on the ball and ran around aimlessly leaving gaps behind him off the ball.

Doherty promising in attack but needs to work on his fitness and, as the Wolves fans said, he's not a great defender. Felt sorry for him when Sissoko came on as trying to link up play with Moussa is an impossible task.

Rest of the defence utterly pedestrian. Kane looked like he couldn't be fucked and frankly I wouldn't blame him one bit if he fucks off asap.

Only hope for the season is that we sign at least another player of genuine quality, Ndombele somehow finds form/fitness, and Lo Celso stays fit. And Jose plays all of them over his hard-working favourites who aren't actually all that hard-working and offer nothing on the ball.

I think I said it before, I dont mind a bad performance if I can see the transition in our play from old to new. There was nothing, and there hasnt really been much since Jose came.

How can people paid millions not see we need a player who can create a chance from attacking midfield and someone who can set the tempo from in front of the back 4... basically Dembele and Eriksen. Not sure we can wait for NDombele to come good and not sure Lo Celso is a No.10

Utterly pathetic, I can't remember a more disheartening opening game of the season. Did the players even know it wasn't preseason.

The reaction after going a goal down, was horrendous, inexcusable. Front to back, no urgency, no idea, nothing. Gonna be a long fucking season, if that's anything to go by.

I didn't judge him overall, I said he looks awful. Which he does.
That's why I'm backing up your point. You aren't saying that he's a disaster of a signing but that he had a poor game, which is reasonable.

Striker aside there’s so many other positions in the squad that need upgrading / addressing, worrying times as the window ticks by ffs

I dont think anyone we bring in will make any difference. The coaching and tactics are utter fucking shite. If JM is still here in the new year I'll be extremely surprised.
Btw I said that last season so its not based off this match.

TBF, we can’t judge on this match as some players are still not match fit . But we need better new players in a couple of positions.

I’d wait until a month after the TW closes to see how we have done before making a comment on Jose’s tactics.

I'm not a Mourinho fan but his sacking won't solve our problems. The players and Levy are as much if not more to blame for our problems.
I agree, i am just hoping for a full rebuild in the future. The players are bad, but Mourinho's mentality doesn't help at all.

We were absolute shit today, no passion or determination, Kane was way below par. It is going to take a hell load of wo0k to get these mugs going. We need another striker, like yesterday. Everton were miles better than us.
Kane didnt even get on the ball to do anything.

The system we play is bloody awful.

Cant really blame the players when you look at Leeds and their fantastic play with a squad far worse than ours.

We have the players to be playing a much better brand of football.

I imagine Levy and Enic must sweat it now.

New stadium done worthy of champions, yet we look way off tonight. If thos goes on we'll finish midtable and Kane's off to City next year to replace Aguero.

So close and it can all so easily go away.

Poor poor poor, but in no ways as bad as what Neville and co were yabbering on about since the first 5 minutes. Another day them chances in first half go in and we’re 3-0 up.

Only can put it down to, Kane has had no pre-season with us, and came back straight to international duty. Winks has been missing last few weeks but comes straight back into the starting line up and NDombele has only had 45 mins. Son, Doherty, Dier, Hojbjerg, Alderweireld, Davies and Lucas there’s no excuses.

I’m seeing a lot of grief directed toward Højbjerg on twitter. Thought he snapped in and won the ball fine when he had the chance. Also had to shoulder more responsibility on the ball than he should’ve had to because Sissoko is such an abysmal excuse for a footballer and whilst he has the ability, unfortunately Harry Winks is a complete coward and hides every time he’s asked to take control of a game. Honestly, the quicker we move on from Winks and Sissoko being first team regulars the quicker we can start moving toward being a half decent team again.

The players just aren't playing for each other. They can barely string more than 3 passes together before losing it. It's the same problems since the tail end of Poch's time.

I don't know, I just can't see things getting better until a lot of this squad have been moved on. As much as it hurts to say it, that includes the likes of Ali and Kane.
