Spot onI still can't get how tired some of our players look.
Once again CM is still an issue, anyone that thinks Winks is close to starting 11 for a top half Premier League team needs their head examining, to go from Dembele to Winks is probably the most painful thing i've ever witnessed.
To hear so much in the documentary, about pressing, desire etc, i don't ever see it. Lucas second touch is always a tackle, Dele rarely ever accelerates and seems to have taken over the Eriksen rule of pressing being general running after the ball. Can't they just watch Lamela and understand what actual pressing is, it's really not that hard to explain to an adult surely.
Unless we pull off a blinder the end of this window, having a starting 11 that could include Davies, Winks, Sissoko, Lucas, is barely top half quality.
Lastly, if this was Jose's Chelsea, as much i hated them, they would have all been over the ref for that freekick being nearly 10 yards further forward, 'nice' Tottenham don't say a word, our players really fuck me off with their lack of being fighters. Do we actually want to win? You can't just win by kicking the ball about a bit. Just sets such a meh tone.
Play the ball, not the man. People are entitled to their opinions, good or bad. You don't need to insult people. It's one fucking game, 1 game, when did we turn into this fucking shit show of entitled knobs. I sure as shit wasn't happy with the performance but ffs grow some balls.
On the contrary. Our players are as good, if not better, than Everton's.
This game has shown how important it is to have a tactical plan that your players buy into. They had one. We didn't. Our tactics seem to be 'give the ball to Harry' with no idea about how to do it.
Grealish is an AM who usually plays off the left and Utd are still looking at AMs in Sancho and (reportedly) Bale so it’s not unlikely that if a team agreed terms with AV, they would come in. Unfortunately, as far as I can see we haven’t had any ITK that we are even considering Grealish as an option (or any other AM).
It isn't one game. It's just about every game since Mourinho arrived. Some results have been good but the performances generally haven't. Yes, his time here has been disjointed by covid-19, but Mourinho has had ample time to give us at least the basis of a way to play. We don't have it. We use a low block and we hit it long for the fast front men. Any organised team with a half-decent coach will see that, prepare for it and nullify it. Which is what Ancelotti and Everton did today.
We are passive and we are predictable. We are as bad today as we were in the last days of Poch and we show no signs of getting any better..

Prime Pirlo and Xavi wouldn't solve our problems.
I'm not sure we have more than one player with a picture in their mind of what's around them and knows how to construct a move that isn't give it to the Wideman and leg it into the box.
You just have to look at how many players want the ball when a man is in possession. (It's very few)
Let's face it, our actual passing game has been shit for years, now the legs and desire seem to be going the same way.
And so many players whose first touch is (a generous) 50/50.
The only time we look half decent is when teams are open to the counter attack, and even then it's massively hit and miss.
I agree it’s only one game but I also agree that Everton were good and could have scored 2or 3. Had Doherty scored would things have panned out differently? What is certain the Sissoko sub was a disaster. As much as I don’t like criticising our players he is not the greatest footballer and should be used sparingly if at all. We must be able to sign someone better. I personally don’t think anyone came out of this game with much credit. However when Bale comes home ?We were very fortunate to lose 1-0. No desire or intensity, on the opening day of the season!
I'm just fed up of seeing insults against people who dare post anything negative. Same as all the "bedwetter" comments.TBH I think maybe emotions and drink might play a part of most of those who watched the game today......let the dude vent
Everyone else seems very happy to abuse our entire team and management for one bad half after a bizarre pre seasonPlay the ball, not the man. People are entitled to their opinions, good or bad. You don't need to insult people.
None of our players are suited to this style of play, Maureen is going to set our club back 3 years.
