Was you expecting anything else. It’s not easy to make as many changes as we have and expect the team to click.
There have been many examples in Europe this season when teams have made wholesale changes and had bad performance/results

Problem we have in the longer term is , apart from Gio and N'dombele battling for that place in the middle next to Sissoko, who else in this team tonight is even remotely close to pushing to get in the premier League team? Absolutely no one in my opinion.

These boys need to start realising that unless they impress here their chances really are gonna be few and far between.

Doherty & Bale are such disappointments, Doherty playing in a 3/5 at the back but still not impressing. Bale who’s supposed to be this superstar can’t even get a goal or assist in the Europa League and there’s still people who want him to start instead of Bergwijn
