Very promising first half but inevitable result as it wore on. You can blame the manager and the players but at the end of the day FFP cheating means the top four of Chelsea , Man City, Liverpool and Man Utd will remain as is until the football bodies change things. Its a closed shop.

It seems Tuchel saved the ace up his sleeve in bringing Kante on at half time, one of the best if not the best central midfielders in the world. We didn’t have an answer to that move we didn’t have any options on the bench to make us stronger only defensive players to try keep the score down and a few attackers yet to find their feet in the premier league. I guess at least he didn’t bring on a right back to play right wing today, so that’s a plus in my book.

Our fans would have complained if we could make a sub like that complaining it's a defencive change...

Lol. They brought kante on, both lo celso and ndombele aren’t match fit. Everything good came through those two in the first half. Both quick passing and good movement, lo celso made the pass for the two big chances we had first half. I suggest you rewatch it. You tell me what alli did all 90 mins? To blame them two over alli etc is truly a joke.

You need to re read my original post, this wasn't necessarily about today's performance, no idea why you are bringing Alli into it and we paid £5m for Alli.

The thing is, football is just broken isn't it.

Got chelsea fans giving it large on my whatsapp group, but the difference in investment is just mind boggling. We are shit yes, but football is basically, like you have to race against your neighbour, and you are in a Toyota Prius and he's in a ferrari. And when he beats you he winds down the window and goes 'ahhh fuck off, you are shit, I'm so fast look at me go'

You just think, what is the point. It's charade, packaged by Sky as being some amazing competition, but the whole thing is a sham. But the public still lap it up because we are muppets who never stop believing no matter how unlikely it is.
At some point though mate there comes a time when you have to stop believing it's the hope that kills you.

Despite the huge sums of money invested, Chelsea were mediocre under Lampard. Tuchel deserves the credit he's due.

Ndombele in the first half was a true joy to watch. I think if we go out against the goons with the same passion as on the first half, it's going to be all over within 45 minutes.

After everyone has vented their spleen the happy clappers come in, then everything is all right again until it isn't.

I'm being a bit harsh, I know, but when the chips are down, that's when you need to step up and they really didn't.
And that's what confuses me about this bunch. They can show fight when they want to (City and first half today) then they go into their shells when it starts going wrong.

I am just baffled by this group of players. When they want to put the work in and press and play they look great like that first half. Then one change from the opposition and everything is undone.

I'm not entirely Nuno out just yet, purely because I saw things from the first half that I can take forward and Nuno has had one window and unfortunate circumstances and injuries.

But this group of players need a kick up the backside. Or we just need a whole new club.
No fucking manager in the world can make these players good enough to compete at the top. They may have skill. But attitude has been piss poor for years, under numerous managers. Sure, they can fire Nuno after we lose to Arsenal next week. But no manager will turn these assholes around. Face facts. We are a mid table team now. And lack the right players with the right attitude to be anything better. And Ive said this since shit went south for Poch… no manager can fix some of our issues. Need a completely hew coat of paint. At least five new players in midfield and attack. Most of all, players with the right attitude.

Nuno is sacked already. Just a question of when. But it sure as fuck won’t be his fault.

I'm not sure I understand this latest round of bed-wetting. Tuchel (a fantastic tactical manager) recognised what he needed to change throughout the first half, changed it at half time, it had an instant impact, we didn't have an answer for it and we were sunk when the 2nd goal (flukily) went in. The first half was far better than any of us expected it to be.

Screaming the same things at each other about Levy/ENIC/etc every time things don't go our way just seems so pointless.

No passion. No pride. No fight. No effort.
On a day where you’d think those things would come naturally considering the Jimmy Greaves news.

I don’t know what I expected tbh. This club is a shambles and there’s a loser mentality running through the squad.
