Considering they are all following the manager's instructions, I think I can see a common root to their poor performance

As much as I don’t like Jose’s style of play I do not believe that he is instructing them to be so sloppy in possession and be second best to all the lose balls and have no intensity. The Amazon documentary shows those are things that he was very keen on.

Lucas is absolutely putrid to watch. Brings absolutely nothing. Cant pass or control or shoot, puts very little effort in. Every time he comes on he negatively affects the team.
