Neville and redknapp are missing the point on the red card. The whole reason for having the wild and out of control rule is to stop leg breakers. Clearly Jones went over the top and clearly he could of broken Bissoumas leg.

Jones could/should have done a block tackle. I feel sorry for him a bit as he seems a nice bloke. I don't think he was intentionally trying to hurt Bissouma like the Charlie Adams of the world. But it was right to be red to stop this kind of foul.
I disagree. It was an accident. His foot makes contact with top half of the ball, the ball rolls and brings his foot into contact with Bissouma’s leg. Because of his momentum it could have seriously injured Bissouma but he wasn’t reckless, he had no intent or used excessive force. It was an accident and in football as in life they happen. It’s like if Your car sloops on ice and crashes into another car - it’s not a punishable offense just an accident. I know many of you agree but if it had been the other way around you would be making this same argument.

Maybe if more bad calls go against Pool, Citeh, etc - they will wake up and push for better refereeing standard?

Right?

Right?

I wouldn't be too sad if it meant the end of VAR.
It won't. VAR can remain, it's the upbringing of the other clubs and fans need improving. Our club and previous managers hardly moaned about such decisions, neither do us fans go about it extensively, signing up for some pathetic petitions or what not.

Let's not get affected by these scousers/scum bitches. It's like their one and only injustice for how long oh come on.. Hilarious and entitled the bunch of them. And fancy calling themselves the so called big clubs. Sore losers.

I wouldn't be too sad if it meant the end of VAR.

It will probably just mean a more rapid introduction of the semi-automated offside tech from the World Cup (which Spurs will probably be the first side on the wrong end of). If I remember right, Serie A introduced it mid-season after the Qatar World Cup.

It gives everyone an extra week of pretending their lazy dismissal of an entire football club, with a very good league record over a nearly 20 year stretch now, back into mid-table mediocrity after a nightmare of a season from all angles was still a totally rational and not at all dimwitted biased narrative they have in their heads because they're perpetually stuck in the 90s when they were young and hip and we were truly shit and arse and Yanited dominated the league.

Let them carry on.
