Read yesterday about clubs refusing to approve loan deals to Marine due to their potential lack of game time after this one.

They been trying to bolster the troops in the week running up to the game or something?

The old fashioned ringers route

Romantic old me would love for them to give us a game and Kane have to come off the bench to net the winner. It would give them their day ,but the Spurs in me needs 4 up with 3 mins to go to be safe.

I want them to be remembered forever in history.............because they suffered the heaviest defeat on record.

No option for goalless draw, score draw or Spurs to lose?? Let's hope Jose isn't as blasé as you lot.... :cautious:

The whole squad could go down with COVID?

Absolute madness this game is going ahead. It’s a bigger risk than any of the other matches.
How exactly can Marine confirm the players are free from covid? No way do they have a bubble, with binmen at work and so on.
Heard the marine manager saying their second set of test results ‘might’ come back today

In any other year, this is the romance of the fa cup.
This year, it’s just too fraught with risk.

The FA are testing all the teams playing in the third round. Whether that means staff as well as players is anyone’s guess.

Concerned that Brentford's boss has now tested positive for Covid
Nothing to see here....

If they get an all-clear during the second round of testing, absolutely no reason not to play it and not really any added risks at all. Yes, the league is suspended, but that's less to do with inherent links, but rather the level of testing available and having to make a cut off at some point.

Apparently, they did the first round of testing without problems, and for their sake and their fans I hope the second round of testing also gives them the all-clear.

Even with testing, there are lots of risks, and it's clear that bubbles in the PL are not exactly working. The rules shouldn't change just because the team is non-league.
