If Everton can pull off an upset against City the race for second place back on.

Well that was shit. Other than the result I see zero positives. Spineless, gutless, embarrassing.

Would have been a decent performance away to Barca not at home against Southampton.

Come on mate, we were a man down for 60 minutes.

Considering the circumstances, massive result and hopefully it’s the turning point of the season.

In a perverse way that was exactly what we needed. Probably of more benefit to the club than an easy 4-0 win.

Heart sank a bit with the sending off and lloris mistake but the boys were very professional for the remainder of the game to see out the win.

Big win all things considered. I hope we don't focus on the negative and just the positive. Now is the time to come together and move on. COYS

Couldn’t give a fuck about the performance (we were good before the sending off). We won and that breeds confidence. Nice

Call me batshit crazy but I think a 2-1 win with a player sent off is better for the group than a 4-0 romping. Hopefully this is the catalyst to getting back on track mentally.

Aurier got sent off to save us from the diamond, MOTM.
Didn't look like a diamond to me. Son was mainly on the left, Sissoko on the right with Eriksen behind Kane.

Shame really because I think we would have absolutely battered them. Eriksen looked well up for it.

Took mental strength and alot of effort to stay tight and compact like that for an hour. Great defensive work for once!

Gonna be tough Tuesday, Kane, winks and Sissoko looked gassed at the end .

And once again I must Say English referees are the worst in the world

Poch made a game changing sub. We get 3 points despite being down to 10 men for 60' and a Lloris howler. Massive win.

Good win in the end today, did well to get a goal after the disappointment of losing a man and to hold on and defend well under pressure for 60 minutes is certainly a positive.

Not really a game you can get a lot from to be honest, although I will say before the sending off I personally don't think we looked quite right in the setup. We look much better with an attacking 3 behind Kane IMO.

Was probably not the type of performance that many had hoped for vs Southampton but I feel like that might end up being the most important of the season and the performance we needed. Players showed great desire and we should grow stronger as a team through adversity.

Was it perfect, no it wasn't, there was mistakes but this turn around is going to take time and there was some great individual performances out there today but the main thing is we worked as a team to get that result. Really fucking happy and probably happier than if we had won 4-0.
