It's a shame there isn't a "despise" button.Good result.

I see more going forward from us in these games than under Mourinho towards the end of his reign when we kept losing leads.
A zippy but old school performance. He had a handle on everything they did and had that big strapping lad in his pocket. I'm sure Nuno was taking notes
True. At least there is a sense of improvement to come in this current squad.I see more going forward from us in these games than under Mourinho towards the end of his reign when we kept losing leads.

That's exactly my point. While not winning 3 or 4-0, I can see the difference from last season and the improvements. I can see a plan and I can see how much more confident we are when defending.True. At least there is a sense of improvement to come in this current squad.
There is an immense amount of positivity in this team now, that simply hasn't been there since a certain night in Madrid.I see more going forward from us in these games than under Mourinho towards the end of his reign when we kept losing leads.
TrolltasticGood result.

Gil.Thought lucas offered much more than bergwijn. Its that 3rd forward to play with kane and Son if we get right would be amazing
And we lack a traditional number 10. Apart from that we are good
Right back cover also important. So 3 players for me RB, AM, RF
Yep I think if we give Nuno time we could be on to something here. The squad seem to be getting behind him (and winning three out of three with none conceded will help). I said it after City but I am getting Poch vibes from Nuno and the squad. There is an immense amount of positivity in this team now, that simply hasn't been there since a certain night in Madrid.
His cheeky back heel could have been goal of the season! On my way home from the game (fuck it feels good to just be on my way home from a game after the last 18 months!) so haven’t kept touch with the mood in here but thought Davinson Sanchez was motm. Dier did well too but Sanchez was increasingly dominant as the game went on, and contributed on the ball too with some of those long passes out wide to Bergwijn/Son on the left.
Impressed with how we managed and controlled the last 30 mins. Was impressed with Watford in the first half but in that last half hour it felt like we kept them at arms length and deserved a 2nd goal.
I’m happy.
Would have sent all the Anti-Davs wild! ?His cheeky back heel could have been goal of the season!
