Ricardo..who cost 19.8m. And Aurier cost 23m.....yes that makes perfect sense!! And I bet Auriers wages are alot higher. Stop believing everything you read on forums.

Ricardo cost that the next year. We were in for him the summer we bought Aurier but he was just returning to his Portuguese club from a two year stint on loan in France and they wanted a big fee. JJ made it very clear that Ricardo was our top choice that summer, and we couldn’t close the deal.
