Not by the sounds of Pochettino comments on Parrott yesterday. Wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see Parrott anywhere near bench this season unless we have another injury crisis.

What Poch say?

By the summer of 2017 Sessegnon had played 30 times for Fulham, so he was a known quantity, while the others only had youth football at the top clubs' academies, so although people in the know might have opinions I don't find it a very fair comparison.

My point is whatever the opinion was based on. In the summer of 2017 Sessegnon was mentioned in same breath as Sancho Foden etc if not actually above them. At that moment had you offered all 4 to a top club. Sessegnon may well have been some 1st pick.

eligible over-age players:

de bie
hinds
okedina
eyoma
lyons-foster
statham
skipp
oakley-boothe
shashoua
patterson
thorpe
mukendi
richards

can't remember us being in this position before where we have so many older players with a lot of them having to miss out.

we can forget skipp as he's first team now and mukendi is injured so it's a choice of 5 from the remaining 11. de bie needs games as he hasn't played a great deal lately but you could maybe do without him and go with oluwayemi and the other younger keepers. hinds i would pick due to his quality and versatility, okedina probably not, eyoma has played enough at this level i think so maybe time to let others have a go, blf probably yes, statham no, tob similar to eyoma but would be nice to have him there, shashoua yes, patterson maybe, thorpe will likely have to miss out and richards is our best/most senior forward if parrott isn't going to be involved so he should probably be in the squad.

so i guess that means i'd choose hinds, blf, shashoua, patterson and richards but i wouldn't be against de bie or tob being picked instead.

Makes you wonder why we've keep dross like Statham.

Ive just heard on extra inch podcast that apparently sam Sashaoua was kicking up quite a stink and was sold for behaviourial issues? This is the first I'd heard of this. Can someone provide some confirmation either way?

I believe quite a bit of this is going on behind the scenes . Does anyone know why TOB was not involved today . Injured ?

Hackett Scarlett Mathurin names coming up a lot clearly the ones to look out for. Be interesting if they get some game time.
