Thoughts on Donley? Is he the real deal? Seems pretty well rounded and a legit eye for goal from the little I've seen.

He's certainly doing the right things and I believe those behind the scenes do rate him. Got a good goal scoring record this season, I think today was his 13th league goal. And always good to see a massive spurs fan in the academy doing well too.

Anyone seen Ronnie Edwards play?

I get up Peterborough quite often and he's definitely a stand out defender playing centrally in a three.
Great reading of the game and where the danger is, comfortable with the ball at his feet and very composed, prefers to stay on his feet but he's happy to get stuck in if necessary. He plays the role of a senior defender at the age of 19 which shows how good he is.
I have no doubt he is of Premiership quality, it's just hard to judge at what level in the Premiership.
He'd be wasted on our bench and if we did buy him (I certainly would) he should be loaned straight out to a stronger Championship side or, preferably, a lower Premiership side to gauge just where he currently is.

I don't know if this means he's starting tomorrow or leaving in the summer, it could be either.
But it is interesting, we're down bad at rwb, it's only Royal and him who are RBs by trade before we start looking at Lucas and Stevie playing there.

Thank you, that is a very good report on him. Just to confirm, is he right footed?

Most likely neither. He's almost 99% just posting a picture of him playing ball to his socials with a cliche caption like most footballers do. Not worth trying to read between the lines here.

Yes, he is, which is the problem.
His style of play is very much sweeper so he'd be going up against Dier and there is no way he currently displaces Eric, and no way Conte would want an untested player coming in to replace Dier if he was injured.
There's no point in him doing a Rondon and just wasting valuable development time on the bench so, in an ideal world, he'd be loaned out to one of the clubs coming up from the Championship.

On the bench ?

Cessay is another rwb option and after scoring a brace on his international debut I half expected him to get the nod.

Troy Parrott should start tonight. Big game. MK v Sheffield Wed Live on Sky 1945hrs KO.
Interesting to see him in a full game rather than the odd highlight.

Lost the game in first 30 mins. 3-0 down, keeper threw one in and Bannan scored with 40yard lob.
Troy got a very good goal. Went down left hand side of defender and flicked over kpr with right foot.
Lost 3-2 in the end with their star player Scott Twine scoring with 25yd free kick.
Troy looked as good as anyone, didn’t stand out as such but always alive to one twos around the box. MK front 3 just a bunch of boys and struggled against Wed defence.
MK will certainly be in the play offs but wouldn’t bet on them going up.
Ideal if they did then he could stay with them in the championship.
That’s 5 in last 7 for Troy. Don’t see him in our squad next season , could do with a championship loan. Having said that, Tanganga was on his way out then performed really well in pre season friendlies and got in the first team squad.
He is certainly improving and looking more like the footballer we thought he might be.

Saw his goal on the local news roundup. Lovely little composed dink, the boy has class. There could be a very important preseason coming up for him.

I didn’t want to say it but that’s a young Harry Kane type goal right there. Troy is maturing in a similar manner - he has the tools, does he have the mentlaity?

I'd say, judging on reports about how he continued to work hard for the team even though he wasn't scoring, suggests his mentality is probably his strongest asset?

By all accounts he does lots of dropping back & grafting. And hasn't let his head drop when not getting on the score sheet.

Do you think Conte will give him a chance to prove himself? A full international in good form working his butt off. I think Conte knows a player when he sees one.
