Some small info

One of our youth keepers is in talks with a move to Swansea can’t remember if it’s Austin or Olyumawemi, Lo tutalo or however you spell it will find out on Wednesday.

Friend is currently in Marbella and is claiming he’s sharing a hotel with 3 England youth players one that I should know well ?.

Do we see any of our youth players being part of the squad setup next season? We had a couple of youngsters looking ready to make a step up into bit part roles.

In fact is Tanganga still in the reckoning after his injury?

I’m hoping Devine has a break through if he doesn’t go on loan. It’s interesting where he might play in this Conte system. Imo in theory he’d be great box to box alongside Bentancur but could probably play in the front 3 as well.

No, I think anybody with first team potential should go out on loan. Scarlett, Devine, John and white. Parrott got an outside chance if he impresses enough in preseason but reckon he needs at least on more good year out on loan.

I’ve a funny feeling Conte will really like Parrott he’s intelligent and runs his socks off. If he has a good pre season I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s kept as 6th attacking option.

As the season starts on 10 Aug Troy will have the pre season tour plus a few league games to try and make an impression . If he does well Conte might keep him up to Xmas as we will have plenty of games. CL group games have to be squeezed in before mid Nov when World Cup starts.
Troy will be free pick as under 21 so won’t affect squad numbers.
It’s up to him.
At a guess we will probably be playing 2 games a week for most of the time from start of season to start of the World Cup.. there is an international break in there as well.

Do you think he would be back up for Deki? I'm not sure he's suited to being that target man in Conte's system just yet. That would mean both Lucas and Bergwijn had been sold

Tanganga is 23, no longer a youth player in my opinion.

23 is the upper limit of youth player in my book as they are still eligible as U23s until the end of that season.
I'm not overly concerned about players needing to be so young in our squad only that we're using players that we've produced or developed where possible.

Austin as 3rd GK
Tanganga as RCB
Sessegnon as back up LWB
Skipp as back up CM
Parrott as back up RWF

And when they become surplus because they are replaced (like Winks) we move them on.
