I took inspiration from a thread on the fighting cock and hanstours who do Everton away days on Twitter, I'm looking into starting a Facebook/Twitter page and wanna give it a catchy, stand out name that we can put on banners so it might get seen on TV, etc.

For a start would any of you guys be interested in this? I've found a good deal for a 32 seater coach service through my mates Dad who he's used in the past. Would you be interested in taking part if we had pick up points? We'd be fine with drinking alcohol on the coach he says and all you'd have to do is sort out getting yourself tickets, Thomas Cook away days are a pisstake, they're a good 40 percent more expensive than what I've estimated.

Let me know what you think guys and gals.

A guy used to do this in the 80's, can't remember his name might have been Keith Robbins or something like that. I'm not sure if he had an actual name for it, but I can remember we called it Shady Tours. Not suggesting you use that, but I thought i'd bore you with it regardless.

Just an FYI the quotes have been 22.50-25 per person return if we can fill at least one coach of 32.

Correct. Also we had Big Bill who worked for Thos.Cook but as a private booking thing. Then there was Johnny Herbert's coaches as well, many famous breakdowns throughout the 70's and 80's but hey - that was part of the fun.

In the days before reliable vehicles and no mobiles, no toilets apart from a piss bucket, pioneering times. LOL

Any way I can stick a poll at the top for pick up points so we can see which is the most popular?

My mates Dad! Massive spurs family, still all season ticket holders today.

Don't draw too much attention to the coach when going to matches with flags and banners.

I recall being on a coach in Belfast back in the early 1980's during the troubles - I looked over my shoulder and saw the Union Flag draped completed over the back window - I kind of suggested to the lads on the long back seat to drag it down quickly.

Just in case.
