This guy looks like an extremely good option from good old YouTube. Anyone watched him enough to have an accurate assessment?

Watched 3 Torino games on BT and cant say I was blown away. Looks a bit Emersonish to me. Bremer was the best player on the pitch in all 3 games.

Yeah I have to admit I did watch videos and think him at his best looks great but also somehow got Emerson vibes when thinking about him at other times. Will hopefully try to catch any Torino games on BT too.

I think Marcus Rashford is worth considering. He's way out of form and miserable as sin at Utd but if anybody could restore him it's Conte, just as he did with Lukaku. He could play across the front 3 and has plenty of pace and was a very decent finisher. Will probably get pelters for this but I've got a tin hat nearby. Obviously, it depends massively on price and whether Utd would even consider it.

Selena Gomez is worth considering as my next conquest. No way he leaves Utd especially if someone like Ten Hag takes over

Do you think the Utd fans are going to help him at all? Seems unlikely to me.

I wrote a longer post about him a while back in this thread. Wouldn’t be my choice really. He’s not anything special technically and relies on his physical prowess/speed to beat people, he also goes missing in games (especially the big ones) and is pretty inconsistent. Also his crossing needs a lot of work. He’s young so obviously isn’t going to be the finished product but I’d only take him as a back up, we need someone better and more nuanced as a starter. Maybe if we brought in Coudrado as a starter and Singo as a back up but Singo is pretty one dimensional at the moment and I would be disappointed if he was our 1 RWB purchase.

One transfer option IMO we should look at & try earnestly is Paul Pogba.

Hear me out :

I hate the player he is/was in United. For me, at club level he was disillusioned. Now coming out on free transfer - he can pick where he wants to go. Most probably will go to PSG or Madrid. If we are ok to sanction his salary - which could be on par with likes of Kane.

Paratici did the deal to get Pogba on free transfer at Juventus from United back in 2011. Manager who developed Pogba then as 19yr old was Conte. So, if there is a manager who could keep Pogba in check & get the best out of him, it is Conte.

We need to add more quality in CM. We may be able to get a cheaper option elsewhere. But if we could convince Pogba and can find a way to get him, we would be adding world class quality in midfield. Under Conte, he could potentially bring out his French national team form.

Honestly the only player I would really consider from Utd right now would be Lingard, and even then I don't really know where he would fit in this team. Can he play RWB? ?

If we're looking to shift Winks, I'd love us to go for Ibrahim Sangare. (PSV)

Reckon he's got it all as a DM/CM powerhouse that stands at 6'3".

Strong, great tackler, able to play quick transitional passes.

Really do believe he would add so much to our defensive side, whilst still adding some creativity from midfield.

Maybe not pressing area, but Holjberg, Skipp ,Bentancur and Sangare would certainly see us truly covered in the DM/CM department.

Forget Kessie, this lad looks a far better player to me.

Thanks mate, appreciate the summary ?

why not search twitter for it!

Just kidding, it was PO and GB. Appears they want a CM and Number 10. Eriksens seemingly is main Number 10 target.
Ahh, the WhatsApp group then. Expect to hear something from Ally down the line about this then.

I'm honestly not sure where I stand on transfers at this point because of the way things have gone, any names I put forward before I think probably aren't the best now, for example Pau Torres might not be the best option at LCB for us to recruit but also the way the team has evolved in recent weeks completely changes the dynamic for me of what we need.

First 11 wise I can imagine that we'll prioritise RWB and CM, LWB is still up in the air and LCB we know has been earmarked but really I think the key for us is how we make our bench as stacked as possible. Recruiting Eriksen for example could mean that potentially we end up with either him or Kulusevski on the bench which sounds crazy to say but what a difference having that kind of potential sub or rotation could do for us.

I'm currently in a heightened state of wild optimism and I think we need to keep our eyes firmly on our remaining games and get top4 because if we do, I genuinely think we'll be going for the title next season with the additional resource that Champions League may bring.

Is Jules Koundé suited as the left CB we need? He snubbed us last year because we didn’t have CL, hopefully we can convince him now, if we qualify.
