I read yesterday that UEFA are thinking of dropping FFP can't say I'm surprised it's up to individual clubs to decide what they want or don't want to spend.

When it can be abused so easily by clubs like city, it's just pointless.

Makes no difference to us, if it’s dropped Levy will vow to carry on and make sure its spirit lives on at Spurs.

Very hard to guess transfer fees and names of incomes as I don't watch any other team than Spurs on a regular basis, but I like these games.

Out:
Winks, Sissoko, Dier, Vinicius, Dele, Doherty, Foyth, Lloris = Could be funds around 100m and bar Lloris none of them is part of our best XI.

If one or two are hard to ship we can be open to sell Bergwijn/ Davies/ Sanchez/ Alderweireld / (Lucas/ Lamela). The rest should not be up for sale.

In:
Skipp and Sessegnon should be integrated.

CB: At least one is needed. A leader, someone to rely on and strong in all aspects. 25-40m should be spent here. Names could be Botman, Andersen, Skriniar.
RB: A capable Doherty replacement. If we could somewhere find a right footed Reguilon that would be great. Don't know if Lamptey or Aarons could fit the bill. 15-20m available here.
CM: Another key area for me. A hard working player, maybe box to box, who has a body to use (at set pieces) and who can pick out a solid pass and in the best case chips in with a few more goals than Winks or Sissoko. Don't know if Sabitzer or Bissouma fit the bill but make 20-30m available here.
GK: If Lloris wants to leave, we obviously need a new #1. 15-25m to spend here. Maybe Maignan, Pope is probably too expensive.
ST: A Vini replacement. Someone close to Giroud or him. Someone who can use his experience and come in here and there if needed and brings something to the table. Shouldn't need too much time to adjust to PL and be happy to be basically Kanes deputy. Maybe again a loan somewhere. No need to spend more than 5-10m here.

If Bergwijn/Lucas/Lamela/Bale leave we should think about another winger or the Striker back up should be someone who can play on the wing.

First team:

--------------------New GK----------------------
--New RB---Sanchez-----New CB-----Reguilon-
---------------Ndombele-Hojbjerg--------------
--Bale--------------Lo Celso------------Son-----
----------------------Kane------------------------

Second team:

-------------------Hart-----------------
Aurier--Rodon-------Alderweireld-Davies
---------New CM--------Skipp------------
---Lamela---------Lucas--------Bergwijn--
--------------------New ST-----------------

Sessegnon and Tanganga in addition who should either get around 20 matches or get a PL loan.
Scarlett, Parrott, White, Clarke to get a loan in the Championship.

If we miss Europa plan with around two players less.

Absolutely mate clubs like city, Madrid or PSG are not going to be banned from the competition.
In the main they have the best players and both UEFA and the sponsors want the best teams in it.

Mentioned in the transfer thread previously, this summer is all about quality and not quantity. We have a huge list of players we would be happy to leave and I think a lot of them will.

We need to go back to a smaller more balanced squad that we had under Poch, so for me the below is what I would hope to see.

GK - Sell Gazza but in terms of who is at the club now, keep it the same unless Hugo wants to leave. If he does Maignan or Pope to replace him.

RB - Sell Aurier and Doherty, depending how Japh performs for the remainder of the season will dictate the quality of the RB we bring in, I would go for either Lamptey or Aarons personally.

CB - Forth, Carter-Vickers & Dier to be moved on, brought in either Andersen, Konsa or Denayer.

LB - Keep Reggy and Davies, Sess can also get more game time here. Dont think Davies should be a priority to move on this window, good proffesional and many other higher priority issues.

CM - Winks and Sissoko out, Sabitizer in would be great as he has been extensively linked. Also Skipp to return and get minutes. GLC & Sabitizer can also get minutes further forward.

AM - Dele to leave, Bale not to come back. That leaves us Son, Lucas, Lamela, Bergwijn, Sess & Scarlett. If Lamela does leave as per links then we can replace, I wouldn't actively pursue this though. Maybe bring Bale back again if Lamela were to go.

ST - Vinicius not to return, I would really go all out for Ings personally. Giving us Kane, Ings & Scarlett. Ings can also play AM so would get more game time than just Harry's deputy.

GK: Lloris, Hart, Whiteman
RB: Tanganga, new RB
CB: Sanchez, Rodon, Toby, New CB
LB: Reguillon, Davies (Sess)
CM: Ndombele, PEH, GLC, Skipp, Sabitizer
AM: Son, Lucas, Lamela, Bergwijn, Sess, Scarlett
ST: Kane, Ings (Scarlett)

OUT: Gazza, Aurier, Doherty, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Dele & No loan return for Bale or Vinicius.

Smaller squad 22 senior players plus Whiteman and Scarlett. Obviously there are some caveats like if we cannot move on certain players but the main thing for me is let's focus on shifting the above players rather before entertaining other members of the squad, as with the Euros there will be a lot of work to do in the summer.

Patson Daka to replace Vinicius.

Certainly knows how to score, and a fair few reports stating he wouldn't cost all that much this summer.

Exactly , you either have it and enforce it, or just scrap it entirely.
And it gives certain chairman a ready made excuse for not spending.

Liverpool and Arsenal were linked with him and he would have much more minutes there than us.

Maignan and Casteels linked with us by Sami Mokbel, two great options.

Interesting
A few seem to class Skipp as a new signing but he is actually a Spurs player.
I would add Son to Slum's list of (doesnt seem to be interested in signing a new contract)

We’ve already been told it’ll be a quiet summer unless we move people on by ITK have we not?

Can’t see the market being all that active to be honest, people making long lists of outs and in are going to be disappointed. Shifting any dead wood would be great, but which clubs do people think are going to be spending that kind of money on the players we have deemed not up to the standard?

If we can move a few players on great, but we aren’t shifting Dier, Winks and Sissoko on for big money, no ones going to pay a big fee for players in the last year of their contract like Lloris and Aurier either. I imagine our main source of potential income will be Dele if Mourinho stays, and possibly Doherty if the rumours of Wolves wanting him back are true.

So many unknowns for this summer. Will Levy fire Mourinho? OR can we even afford to? Will Son sign a new contract (TBH, if I was him I would not)? Will Kane want to stay another year not challenging for the top club honours?

Assuming Mourinho stays, and Son and Kane are convinced to give us another year...

Out:
Lloris (sell him to PSG while we can get a good fee - it's time for a change for both him and us).
Doherty (simply not a good fit for us and not good enough in a back 4).
Dier (not good enough)
Foyth (may as well get a fee)
Winks (not good enough)
Sissoko (not good enough)
Dele (pointless having him if Mourinho is in charge)
Bale (not point renewing if Mourinho is still here as he will not work hard enough for how Mourinho wants our WFs to play)

In:
New GK
New CB
New CAM/RWF

Ive no idea what finances will allow in the summer by way of transfers but i think we have 10 young players who are improving rapidly and look to have substantial potential to improve further PLUS 4 senior Pros who are among the best at their roles in the world and seem to be natural leaders as well as good team men (from what we can tell from the outside). In an ideal world we'd be open to offers for anyone not in those buckets this summer regardless of who coaches us next season:-

Youngsters - Tanganga, Rodon, Sessegnon, Cirkin, Reguillon, Skipp, Ndombele, GLC, Devine & Scarlett
Pros - Lloris, Kane, Sonny, PEH

I doubt we've paid much off of Doherty's transfer and the rumour was that Wolves wanted a cut price deal. Whether that means less than we paid them or if it means cheap for a player on a long contract remains to be seen. Only one will be acceptable to Levy though.

Anyone who wants another season of the Bank account sorry Bale sideshow is crazy. Apart from Doherty our recent signings have been pretty good, agree with the majority here that its a priority now to shift the 5 or 6 players who just aint performing and taking up valuable squad places. Dier, winks, sissoko, dele, davies, aurier, Doherty would bring in decent money in todays market and I don't believe any would be hard to replace.
