I don't understand why. Could you elaborate?

Because, we are direct rivals in a competitive sense now. So it is a much more meaningful match than battling for bragging rights. And I dont fancy us, and I always fancy us for a NLD. Feels like losing will have a bigger significance than normal in terms of how this season ends up.

I think it will knock us for 6 like the Chelsea game did last year.

Going to get in there first.

1. Hugo
2. Walker
3. Dier/Toby
4. Verts
5. Rose

6. Wanyama
7. Dier/Winks

8. Lamela
9. Dele
10. Dembele

11. Kane/Janssen

Subs:
Vorm
Davies
Kane/Janssen
Onomah
GKN
Eriksen
Son

Good for you getting in first. No Alli at all though? He's got to feature in our press. As should Lamela. Son too. Behind Kane.

I'd go Janssen with GKN Eriksen and Alli v the Germans, Alli recovers quickly. As does Wanyama. He can play both although Dembele should have the night off. If Kane is ready then he comes on for the last 25. I'd give Rose a rest but keep Walker going.

A one nil followed by a nil nil does me. The other way round is less realistic but much depends on Toby coming back.

Dele is in, but not Alli.

We seem to be able to play better vs the bigger sides, playing piss-ant sides like West Brom and Leicester exposes our inability to break teams down

Lloris

Walker Toby* JV Rose

Wanyama Winks

Lamela Dembele Son

Kane*

Subs: Vorm, Dier, Davies, Alli, Eriksen, GKN, Vinny

Injury dependent. I'd have no qualms about playing Winks, we need someone to up our tempo and he's a tough little s.o.b. so why not? Plus he'd have Vic and Moose watching his back

Alli, and particularly Eriksen, are really grinding my gears at the moment so I'd have them on the bench but I suspect Poch won't agree with me

I may end up paying £150 for a ticket so anything less than a 3-0 win isn't acceptable.

I like the idea of this but it just isn't working. Dembele is dropping too deep to pick up the ball and is slowing our build up play down. If he was instructed to stay up top and have Dele or Lamela drop back we would be in better shape with this selection. For me the combo of Dembele and Wanyama is just too slow.
But Dier and Dembele weren't? Wanyama is quicker than dier and will be a brilliant partnership. That are of or team is not the problem!

He isn't going to play winks in a million years. He's more likely to add Dier in there too than play winks

I wrote out my ideas/views in the Dembele thread. No, it isn't my preferred look or the way we played last year. Think it was still too stagnant and laborious.

But, that is my opinion man :)

I have gone for a team that knows and will up their game on Sunday. this team last season should of come away from the library with a 3 or 4 goal victory. also this team last year looked so much more threatening, though I'd not be upset if Wanyama was in-place of Dier he does deserve it, but just feel Dier will find his feet in this 1, or the ankles of a gooner if it gets naughty, and playing them getting naughty really disrupts them.

my biggest worry is Rose v Walnut, the arse-anker does seem to have a good record against Danny boy, but this game is so important to not lose, to be 6pts behind them is never a good thing and when they do have a result against up, they do seem to get a lift from it and builds their confidence up, especially if they are the ****s that end our unbeaten run.

I hate this match  and even though I hate our next 2 matches as much, this one always ties my stomach up in knots

I've only gone and grabbed a ticket for this.

£150 but I don't care, I've got no friends, no girlfriend and no social life and £16k is sat in my bank account and I'm only 20 so I'm allowed to splurge.
