This is what I was thinking

I was alarmed at the Reguillon performance whilst he has impressed in previous games against Antwerp he was abysmal.
The only thing in his favour is that everyone else was poor also .
The players I look to in a game like this where there was a lot of back up players I looked to Reguillon / Lo Celso / Vinicius to lead the way .
In truth I cannot say one player played OK even Hoijberg when on the field .
After all the feeling good about us I find it dissapeared in that game and the old doubts about us re-surfaced .

Mourinho needs to integrate his most talented players as soon as possible. Lo Celso needs to be starting and finding his place in a CM3 with PEH and Ndombele if this team is to challenge this season. If he starts Davies, Lucas, Sissoko, and Doherty again, after a very poor performance against Burnley, then the team will once again rely entirely on Ndombele to be the creative force. Play the team below for a fast start and high pressing against Brighton playing out from the back:

I think it will be the same team we played against Burnley. Only difference might be that Jose decides to start Bale ahead of Moura. Give 60 mins. And perhaps with starting his first PL game, he will go up a gear too.
i guess that decision will be contingent on how he is physically feeling after Thurs night and if he is ready.
Otherwise it will likely be Moura. Or you never know, Jose could pull a huge surprise and drop Dele back in there. See how he reacts.

Cannot see Davies starting and its not because of how he played more that he has played back to back games and should be rested .

Bale is just out of interest to see how he does.

Winks if Lo Celso isn't fit but let winks do what he likes instead of shackling him I want to see how broke or how bad he is.

Doherty because if Aurier starts Mourinho will play the midfield 3 of Sissoko Holjberg N'dombele and I really do not want to see Sissoko playing right back and covering all game.

Doherty seems to need more covering than Aurier unfortunately.

Agreed. Unless Jose moves us to a back 3 in an effort to solve our defensive woes, Serge is maybe the better option.

We are not going to play both Reguilon and Doherty and not partner PEH with Winks or Sissoko (As much as I do not want them to play). Brighton will lick their lips and just wait for an opportunity to counter attack behind them, with only PEH that can cover when they do go forward.

If both Doherty and Reguilon play, it will be NDombele, Sissoko and PEH in midfield.
Kane, Son and either Moura, Lamela, or Bale.
