With mandzukic lookin like he will be fit wouldn’t be surprised to see a back 3 with wanyama slotting into Dier position. Mainly because mandzukic pulling onto Trippier at far post would be a big worry for me.

Lloris
Dier Sanchez Vertonghen
Aurier Wanyama Dembele Rose
Eriksen Dele
Kane

Vorm, Trippier, Davies, Lamela, Lucas, Son, Llorente

Avoid defeat. Have the players on the bench to make a push to sneak a win later in the game.

we definitely need a goal in the first leg, because if they score at wembley then we have to get at least 2.

Team picks itself for me, as we were.

If we get Kane into a shooting position behind their defence I'm absolutely certain he'll score. It's getting him into such a position, they are an insanely good defensive unit. Think a 2-1 loss is a good result to be honest, if we get that I fancy us to go through at Wembley. If it's two goal down or we don't score then we've got no chance.

Chiellini will be pushing him, standing on his toes, all the dark arts will come out. Kane's gonna have to stand up to them big-time.

Post match v Arsenal his face lit up when they asked him about Juve. His first CL knockout game, the next big stage to show how incredible he is. If we create one good chance for him he'll score tomorrow in my opinion. Whether we can create it is the thing though.

Definitely. But when their record is something ridiculous like conceding 1 goal in 16 games.....

Which is why we need to score in the first leg IMO, if they score in the 2nd without us scoring we're going to find it very difficult indeed to overturn it.

Nah he hearted me , seems like you two have some sort of animal warfare going on.
Yes we all know that squirrels and donkeys are age old rivals in the animal kingdom. Unlike squirrels and foxes who get on wonderfully. Though I do feel squirrels get the better of the relationship, the lazy gits are always getting carried around in foxes' mouths.

I've no doubt he'll put everything into it. Just saying the best Italian defenders are something else. So good at niggling at a striker, putting them off balance, lots of little fouls chipping away at their rhythm. Harry's gonna have to take it up a notch.

Harry's already played and scored against them this season (2-0 Friendly at Wembley...Trippier assist btw), they're well beatable. That league is past its best IMO.

Do not underestimate them, they are an extremely strong team. Defensively they are possibly the best in Europe. You're going to be in for a shock tomorrow, I'd be amazed if we have more than a couple of clear goal scoring chances the whole game. Gotta be seriously clinical cos this away leg is mightily difficult.

No you're overestimating them and underestimating us.

I'm not, we are a fantastic team with great players. They are not some PL team who will give up chances. They're a team of experienced men, winners (6 leagues in a row) and know tricks and how to stop teams. It'll be the hardest away game we've had under Poch in terms of creating chances. We're going to have to play better than ever have to win away, even a draw is going to need a sensational performance.

It is rare for Poch to not rotate FBs for games with such a short space in-between, especially a tough NLD before an away CL game. As such I expect Rose and Aurier to start. Amazed Toby is not involved unless there are concerns over his injury.

I can see us playing:

Lloris
Sanchez--Dier--Vertonghen
Aurier-----------Wanyama-----------Rose
Eriksen----Dele----Son
Kane

..with Dier stepping up into CM when necessary. Would love it if Dembele is fit to start though!
