My line up would be:

Lloris
Tanganga Sanchez Alderweireld Reguilon
Hojbjerg Ndombele
Bale Moura Son
Kane

Subs: Hart, Aurier, Rodon, Sissoko, Dele, Bergwijn, Lamela, Lo Celso, Vinicius.

Guaranteed 3 points.

With the tott-en-ham nothing is certain my fellow fan.

Jose won't pick my line up, therefore I can make outlandish claims on the interwebs and claim kudos points for such claims.

Some way to go and we need to see who is fit after the international breaks but first thoughts can come in.

For me, if everyone is fit, there is only two positions to debate: Bale and Son or Vinicius and Gio. It feels harsh to take out Vini after he scored but I think Bale brings more to the party and I am hoping to keep Gareth a year longer. Depending on Sons fitness maybe take it slowly and place him on the bench.

----------------------Lloris-----------------------
Tanganga----Sanchez----Rodon---Reguilon---
--------------Ndombele--Hojbjerg-------------
-Bale----------------Lo Celso-----------Lucas---
-----------------------Kane-----------------------

Subs: Hart, Aurier, Alderweireld, Davies, Sissoko, Bergwijn, Lamela, Son, Vinicius

No space for Dier, Dele, Winks

Love this and I hope JM goes this way, But for me, the Bale train has left the Station, Reward VINI by starting him alongside Kane again, Drop Gio back and play Lucas again through the middle, it got a win las time out right , we should not try and fix what isn't broken.

P.S. if SON is fit the thats VINI as a sub

Locelso, for me, is twice the player both ofn them are and will, be, provided he stays fit, our best midfield player. (My somewhat pointless opinion!) He needs minutes.

But I'd agree he should probably not start, yet. Slow intro back into the side.
This is you talking with your heart instead of your head, so I will leave it at that

Reckon we should have Cirkin on the bench today, in case the game goes a way that we can rest Reguilón

hoping to see kane as the 10 again whether that's with Vinicius or son ahead of him I don't mind. It definitely gives kane more options with his incredible delivery and also allows him to arrive late and be picked up by their cbs left often.

Think Son will be on the bench & given 20/30 mins towards the end of the game to easy him back in & get him fully fit for the CF.

Really intrigued to know what line-up and formation today, will he stick with the 4-4-2 or revert back to the 4-2-3-1?

I think he’ll play the below :

lloris

tanganga
Sanchez
Rodon
Reggi

PEH
Tangy
Lucas
Son

Vincius or GLC
Kane

I would like to see better squad management
We are rightly concerned in this thread
with the starting 11
but tactics, injuries, fitness, run-in fixtures
all demand a wider view.
Substitutions should be earlier
and more strategically planned
with these in mind.
It enables more players to get
significant time
and throws the opposition's planning
into disarray.
Some of Jose's subs are sometimes mere gestures
and often too late to affect the game.

I am available at far less cost by the way.

Fully agree personally I would have Kane on the bench today, same with Ndombele, Lo Celso to play in central mid next to PEH and Bale to play on the right of attack with Vinicius up front. Also been tempted to play Sissoko instead of PEH. We really should be enough to beat Newcastle . Three out of the next four fixtures are massive and season defining (not including Southampton should be beating them at home). Be good to have everyone fresh as they can be going into this period. Won’t happen though
