Surprised to see Lamela in so many teams, yet again today he was tenacious and tried but was severely lacking in end product and decision making.
I’d go:
Lloris
Aurier Sanchez Dier Davies
Ndombele Winks
Bergwijn Dele Son
Kane

Lucas, GLC, Sissoko/Gedson, Lamela and a defender as potential substitutions.
Apart from Bergwijn (goal and a nice cross for Son) everyone lacked in end product and decision making yesterday.

Davies

Bergwijn

Bench Kane and bring him on later.

Aurier* Sanchez Dier Davies
Sissoko Lo Celso
Bergwijn Ndombele Son
Kane

*If we had any other option I would drop Aurier. He makes so many mistakes at crucial periods game after game.

Even when he does something good and wins the ball, he will then turn into trouble too often for my liking.

Sure but Lamela specifically had several opportunities to set Kane and Son away and failed each time, not good enough.
Moreover, it is a recurring theme with Lamela, we know how good Kane and Son are.

Same old problem, same discussions we’ve been having for almost five years. Not having an alternative to Kane means we can post line up after line up but in practice it’ll be exactly the same issues.

I would make just one change: Lo Celso for Lamela.

I think Jose will make just one change too, but a different one: Dele for Lamela or Bergwijn.

Lloris
Sissoko Toby Sanchez Davies
Winks Ndombele Lo Celso
Lucas Kane Son

Dier is a liability, Lamela can’t make a clinical pass despite his decent work rate, Aurier again liability and Sissoko has an engine, he is wasteful when it comes to the creative side of things but Is solid enough to stand in at RB, we should sign Doherty from Wolves if Meunier doesn’t happen, he is a very underrated player and offers such great service up top. Winks needs technical players in the mid with him so he can influence the game more, wish Dembele had stayed to help his development. Bergwijn had the most recent injury so am wary giving him too much, have him ready for second half...

I think it will be the same team except alderweireld for dier, lo celso for one of winks or sissoko and Dele in for Lamela.
