Big question is the center of defense. Not sure if Dawson is going to be fit, not sure if Kaboul can play (will we appeal the red card and have him play Sunday?)...

Is Eriksen back? Rose?

This is the last hope of the season though so I expect a good team, even if we do have the NLD after.

Friedel deserves a game in my opinion, was excellent vs Dnipro, but obviously not fussed if Lloris plays.

Think Adebayor may need a rest, didn't look too full of energy today and has played a lot recently, Kane has only shown good performances when given a chance so I'd have no problem with him starting. Think he'd be a great partner for Soldado too, and vice versa.

Bentaleb is our best CM on current form so save him for Arsenal, Dembele and Paulinho should be more than strong enough with both rested today. Play with 2 wingers, Chadli and Townsend, inverted hasn't worked so far but I'd like it a lot with Soldado/Kane playing, both can spot a pass and make intelligent runs.

Sherwood is in a tough spot with people looking to fault him at every opportunity.

If we go for it and win but then lose to Arsenal because of tired legs then they'll say it's all gloomy again.

If we don't put out a strong enough team and lose/draw and go out, regardless of the NLD result they'll say he should have focused on EL.

If he tries to play decent sides in both games we could get bad results in both.

I'd have no problem with it. Sherwood brought up Bentaleb and he's our best CM currently.

We don't have a chance against Arsenal IMO, but he has been injured and has been rested, I think a good 60 mins would be a good warm up for him against Arsenal anyway. I would prefer him not to come straight back in against them and would prefer a little game time before hand.

I don't like it either, but having a settled style and game plan that gets drilled all the time and at all levels of the club is a big big bonus. I think we have some really great players at the club, even those that have not been performing well and I think the biggest problem for us is a lack of style, game plan, philosophy on the pitch, we look completely devoid of any direction on the pitch and it is hard to feel confident when the main tactic of the club is to rely on individual talent to see you through.
