Agreed, the team that beat the scum have earned a starting birth at Anfield to a manSame team as against Arsenal for me please
I reckonPoch will rotate but I think we need pace to attack Lpool ie Townsend
Lloris
Walker
Dier
Vertonghen
Rose
Bentaleb
Mason
Townsend
Eriksen
Chadli
Kane.
I wouldn't have Townsend anywhere near this one.
I differ on this, as Liverpool play 3 at the back, and wing back. We will need to press at the wings and Townsend will be suited for this. Dembele starts in the number 10. Same as yesterday, with Townsend in for Lamela and stambouli for mason.I wouldn't have Townsend anywhere near this one.
I think Stambouli may come in for Mason, had lots of injury problems in the past and was pictured with his ankle in ice after the game. We need to be careful and keep him fresh for the remainder of the season. Rest of the starting team the same for me.
Surely the same two CBs should be able to cope with 2 games in a short period of time, they don't cover the ground those in front of them did.
I wouldn't start Townsend, but I'd definately promote him to the bench, in place of Davies (Verts left back in emergency) Sakho looks poor and if we're chasing the game, Andros would get at him. Same with Can on the other side.Agreed. I also don't think Mason is quite up two games in a week just yet - there was a really big drop-off in performance between Sheffield Utd and West Brom for him.
Plus, I doubt Liverpool will be as cowardly as our dear neighbours were yesterday - they're going to come at us so we could probably do with a being a little bit tighter through the middle.
I'd play Townsend too, I think. Suspect it will get pretty stretched and he offers us a different dimension in terms of pace to try and run at that dodgy defence.
