Lets all laugh at the Cowgirls eh?
A pensioner throwing the ball to everyone except his own receivers!

Fixed.

One of the thread rules is that the team from Dallas must be referred to as the Cowgirls or those arrogrant pricks from Texas.

It was funny watching the score pop up everytime the Rams scored.

There isn't a lot of choice in terms of players or personalization but its a start, I'm going to get a Romo jersey eventually.

 UK shops are rarely up with the times when it comes to the NFL. I remember finding a Tommy Maddox Steelers shirt at the start of the year.

The last one I can understand though as Favre is a legend and the people of Wisconsin probably love him more than the Packers.

Don't. :-|

Speaking of jerseys, will lots of fans at the game on Sunday be wearing their own team's shirts? I'm thinking it'll be a good time to give my Moss jersey an airing.

Teemu, there were plenty on sale through the 'proper' agencies, and the USA returned quite a few this week!
It might be worth a try going onto the sites and checking!:)

I have and they range from £55-100. There is no way I'm paying that for a seat that is either a nosebleed or so up close that you see hardly any of the action.

Unless you get tickets via the lottery or club wembley chances are you will have a crap view of the game.

Well I really enjoyed the game today. Was my first experience of live NFL and I loved it despite not being able to really support either team. I ended up wanting the Chargers to come back and they came pretty close. Great to see LT in full flow and Brees was throwing for fun against the wank Chargers pass defence. Some brilliant catches as well! The best entertainment was provided in the seats directly in front of me where two mad and pissed up Scotsmen were bickering, spilling beers, buying more beers, spilling them again and then bickering some more. The mad sweaties screamed most for a flag on one of the plays. "FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG!!!!" was what he shouted and then when the ref confirmed that he had correctly guessed that it was for pass interference he jumped up and went mental again. Absolute fucking nutters. I mean who leaves four cups of beer (at £4 a cup) on the stairs in the aisle next to their seat?! :eh: :-D

I was at the game on Sunday, with my two sons, behind the Chargers end zone and next to the Saints tunnel.
(That is the tunnel that the Saints run out of at the start of the game), its where the Team Mascots wait and cheer the players, its where the Cheerleaders line up in 2 lines facing each other and the players run between them as they are called by the stadium announcer, its where the pyrotechniques and theatrical smoke machines are situated and huge flames shoot into the air every time a starting player runs out onto the field..........only none of that actually happened........No pyrotechniques, No smoke, in fact NO New Orleans Saints players ran out!
While everyone was waiting, the announcer called out the players names and......NOTHING.....but wait!.......what is that at the 50yd line? oh, its the Saints coming out of the WRONG tunnel.......a quick huddle from the Cheerleaders and they hurry off towards the halfway line and mix in with the TV and radio people who are also re-locating quickly! The mascots, (Sir Saint & Gumbo), look at each other and scamper off in the same direction).
The military quickly drag the large trolley/box's off, that where sitting behind the end zone and that was that!
Then the Stereophonics give a pretty good set, followed by the national anthems.....the American anthem was sung by Ne-yo, very patriotic and well done to him, then Joss Stone sings our anthem........WTF IS SHE DOING?
That is not how our anthem is sung, the crowd soon began to sing it as it should be sung, probably in the hopes of drowning out her vocal gymnastics and wailing.
The game starts 10 minutes late but we are gifted with a 69 point shoot out, (70 if he hadn't missed the PAT!).
I was surprised at the amount of empty seats in the place, quite a lot of them, despite it being described as a 'Sell Out'!
All in all an enjoyable day for the supporters, especially if they were Saints Fans!
My son caught a football behind the Chargers end-zone and refused to give it back when asked by the kicking coach, he placed the ball on the floor and said "No, I'll keep it".....the coach looked again and then went off to carry on with the kicking, my son then called him and then sent a perfect spiralled pass straight to him, that got a large round of applause from the fans at our end, (I'm sure no one would have said anything had he, (my son) kept the ball tho')!
£7.80 for a pie and a pint, £8.00 for fish & chips, fuck knows how much the programmes were, but a lot of "Savvy" people took there own food and drinks, (Clever bastards), it is an expensive day out at Wembley, especially if you have to take your kids, i didn't, they took me!
But i have now seen the Stadium, and it is an eye full, no doubt about it, especially at night, but why do we still have to queue for a slash or wait ages to get served?
