Against my better judgement, have a new thread.

Earlier, we had this..........

Strange times for a deadline day, the club is in full lockdown and has been for a few days now. Between us we are all hearing similar.... We are trying for players but we are getting very limited information as to who we are currently trying to get in before close of play. We have 2 that could potentially leave today(plus Gil) but as Conte has said that won't happen unless replacements come in, and I doubt we let both go tbh. The club is 100% taking every precaution to hide any potential business. What I can say I have been told is that we already have an eye on January. Now my interpretation of that would be a player we've tried for, can't get, and their club needs them to sign a new contract. So Bastoni or Zaniolo, but that's just me taking an educated guess based on limited information. If that's the case then we clearly won't be looking to spend huge money on a player in that position now.

As for today, I wouldn't rule anything out, Be that 2 or 3 in, or even no one at all, as I genuinely have no idea how this will pan out. Hope to be able to bring a bit more as the day goes on and things progress.

Now then, we're going to be more relaxed today but if you want to grease the wheels of that goodwill by putting a fiver or so into the SC pot, we won't hold it against you.

Posts like these take up as much space as the donations themselves you're complaining about sifting through.

Going to set hopes high and expectations low regarding Trix's info. I do like the fact that the clubs on lockdown when trying to conduct business. The less leaks the better.

Never understood this logic - SC has no control over whether a signing is made or not so why is a donation to SC conditional on what Levy does?

A question (not aimed at Trix) but do we get ITK on deadline day because if I'm not wrong we didn't get much last year? And that can be because of many things ofc

There are no particular rules on when someone hears something mate. If someone has something to share they share it. You'd think deadline day would be the biggest chance for that to happen - but take into account the recent Diaz hijacking and the general closing of the shop on rumours generally and what Trix has said, information may be at a premium.

Not long to wait now.
