That is so good.

Not only for the beast doesn't cry call but that he appears to love us and happy to do whatever.

Legend. Lloris and Sandro - first two names on the teamsheet for me.
Agreed, they are crucial. However, I do think Capoue had been outstanding prior to his injury so Sandro will have to maintain performances like vs Villa to keep his spot!

Not sure I have ever seen anyone criticise him TBH.

Just saw a post on another thread with someone saying that he was a bad option for home games due to his poor ability on the ball. Not my words, loosely quoted.

There is always someone somewhere I guess...but seeing how the serial criticism of our own players is a highly beloved pastime around these parts, it has to be said that Sandro is one of our least frequently criticised players in years. Rightly of course!

Yep that was BC in the Villa ratings thread in reply to my post that Sandro must start if fit.

We ALWAYS look way better with him in the side, the way he bosses the midfield and breaks up the play cannot be under estimated.

There is no better 'destroyer'. I think he's the only player comparable to the standard of tackling that Ledley used to have.

Yeah, love Sandro... but how thick is that interviewer? Not only dumb questioning but not at all in tune with Sandro's responses. To say he was phoning it in would be a compliment. I'm sure there are plenty on this site who would do a far better job, and for free.

Ha! The beast does not cry. Quote of the year. Legend. I hope and pray his knee holds out. The PL is truly graced by a player like him.

He reminds me so much of Dave Mackay and I watched him a lot as a lad. He has that uncanny ability to break up play at critical moments and he has that special presence that only the great players have. Would have been our player of the season by a country mile last season even with Bale's pyrotechnics if he didnt get so badly injured. But what do you expect? A player like that plays without fear. Dave came back from two broken legs because he was always wanting to win the ball, even the one per centers where you thought - no way is he going to take that ball off him.
