2 gone already. What does Buttler do now? Has to trust Bess, at least, while trying not to get out himself.

There's been some good bowling this morning, and it looks like it's doing a bit. Might be best to have a thrash and let Anderson, Broad & co get at them before the rain comes in.

Edit: Seems to be exactly what Broad's doing, but then I guess that's how he always bats these days!

Chuffed for Broad, getting his first 50 in 2 and a half years, on the ground where he got that sickening ball that shattered his confidence.

I love Cornwall - he just lets the ball glide past him and unenthusiastically looks at it and thinks 'nah' I aint getting that

A bit like how i play football

Must agree with uncle buck and say that Strauss is not trotting out the same old same old and he has been unerringly correct with his predictions and opinions on what could happen quite refreshing really .

No Anderson or Broad opening the bowling this morning. Good thinking!

Good to see the third umpire applying the benefit of the doubt to Woakes there for the 'no ball'

I’m fed up with cricket and now football being run by refs and umpires not on the field of play

Human error is part of the game. Stop showing a million replays at super slo mo speed. Absolute bollox

Only use technology for CLEAR & OBVIOUS.

It has all become a joke now...

Another great day for England. Even if they have a washout tomorrow, can only see the bowlers finishing the job on Tuesday.

brilliant from Broad. His reaction since being dropped has been incredible.

I was chatting to some of the lads at my game today - we all realised we’ve massively undersold Broad over the years. the bloke is 7th on the list for most test wickets ever, and will almost certainly pass the two above him. simply a legend.

No idea why they batted on to get a lead of 398 as 350 was more than enough. But, as you say, even with only 1 day washed out 3 more sessions should be more than enough

Could be squeaky bum time if it rains a bit longer and questions will be asked about that late declaration

I think he's always suffered, understandably, by comparison with Anderson. But a great bowler, and when he's on one of his runs, there's no-one better to watch.
